This is perhaps the most usefull mod i have come accross so far.

I would get this mod, but instead, I have one that strikes them with a bolt of lightning anytime they say it. Whiterun is missing most of it's guards. Windhelm is close.

Can you remove the "Let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll" line too. Every time I hear it, in my head I say I'm the Dragonborne AND a Werewolf M*****F****R.... Then I eat his face. Then lots of blood and running and a really high bounty.

To everyone saying its IN the knee, not TO the knee, and vice versa, BOTH versions are mentioned ingame.

But they do take Arrows To the Knee...

BETTER IDEA:only some guards take arrows to the knee

It wouldn't be so bad if EVERY guard in skyrim hasn't had the same life story - they are ALL former wannabe adventurers, and i will happily give an arrow to their other knee. Maybe just better to have a different system of what determines what they say?

i have 100 destruction, smithing and alchemy and the only thing im ever reminded of, is the arrow to the knee, the fact that im a low level member of the companions who must be a beer fletcher, and of course that i am the dragonborn. First the guard took an arrow to the knee, then he makes fun of me for being a low level companion, reminds me of the arrow, praises me for dragonborn, points to his knee, makes fun of a low skill i dont use and back to his knee.


I would like an NPC named "Amputated Veteran" who will stand around complaining about guards faking injury in the line of duty and sends you on a quest to give several guards some arrows to the knee. how about a big golden statue of a guard with an arrow to the knee?

The knights who until recently said "Ni", say, "but then I took an arrow to the knee". Ni!

Nice idea, but arrow in the knee is now the classic catch-phrase of Skyrim. Like "I saw a mudcrab the other day" is the iconic Oblivion saying. No way I could ever remove it.. :)
