You need to capture all of Italy, I believe Venetia or the Milan region are bugged and the Mod says you don't need them, when you do. Just take the Carthage region and the 4 regions that make up Italy - after 1 turn rotation you'll be made sole Empire and inheirit the WRE lands.

I just took over the required regions (playing as eastern, western is still alive and sat war with me), but the mission isn't completing for me after like 4-5 turns controlling all needed territories. What's going on???

None of the units can be recruited. Only the Eagle Cohort once you research the last tech.

I've finally reunited Rome but now this mod has broken my game. After I end a turn and all the AI have finished doing their business the "end turn" button is greyed out and my armies can't do anything. And when I load a previous save to try and fix it the classical Roman units are gone and I can't recruit them anymore, despite unlocking the necessary research.

Really this mod just started breaking my game as soon as I finished researching "Reformation of the Classical Legions."

I also researched "Militarised Society" before the former, if maybe that's the cause of the bug.

yeah when I got a new game started up, the mission never popped up and the technology was automatically researchable

Yea still loving this mod man - keep up the good work! This mod and your barbarian kingdom mods are essential to my playstyle - ty kindly

And yea for all the new people the Venetia province is required for the East to annexx the West - each empire needs to annex 5 provinces from the other - the East having it alot easier since all you have to do as the east is spend 2 legions to carthage and 3 in italy then push up and annex it all slowly - while the West has to literally invade all points of the east to capture the specific provinces required which just drags out the civil war giving the Huns a chance to invade.

Everything that's supposed to happen except inheriting the WRE's land. You'll still form the Roman Empire and get the units.

Yeah, you need venetia as well, sorry. I'll update the mod at some point to reflect that. Also, you shouldn't need the WRE to be alive, it just gives you all of the WRE's territory if it is alive.

@people dying in a holy place, do we need control of venetia as well to complete the mission? If so that's probably what's going on for me. Maybe adjust the mission page if you can to show that too and also check off provinces you already control?

What happens if WRE gets destroyed before I can complete the mission requirements? I'm ERE and just got control of the last required province but WRE died a while ago before I could declare war on them or anything, any help is appreciated

Love the mod and the idea. Especially since it gives you a bit more of a mission then "conqour everything". The mission dosnet mention venetia tho. do i need that or no? because i have the others but its not triggering.

In terms of Unit mods anything that doesnt overhaul an entire faction will be fine the reason i use this mod instead of S.P.Q.Rs is because Spqr is basically an overhaul redoing the entire faction, factions names, faction symbols and faction captials this sounds nice however it makes it where its impossible for compatability issuses to get them to be compatible with other mods that adjust time, place, flag, faction name and so forth thats why i usually use DETS mods because they are tech a overhaul they just are a quest for the roman and barbarian faction (referring to is barbarian version) in terms of unit mods tho most campagins work with them campagin wise its during custom battles that you might crash.

S.P.Q.R doesnt take critizism he responds by calling you fat or lazy BUT if you say something nice he contacts you and ask you to like and follow and blah blah BUT that being said S.P.Q.R will take down all his mods rename his avatar and throw up a new icon in like 2 months tops but my point is if you actually CARE about the person making the mod then no i dont Recommend S.P.Q.R but if you just want to play to game try out the mod, just be warned it has horrible compatibility and as he himself has make it perfectly clear he doesnt care about compatibility everyone he wants to play it is already playing it.

S.P.Q.R United Roman Empire AD395 (6.0)Is the mod and mod author you're reffering to i tried the mod because it had Rome as the capital and i didnt think at the time but that meant that NO start pos or TPY mods were compatibile with it and it just ruined the entire thing for me ow getting into the S.P.Q.R mod author personally he has said such things as:

"Well I couldn't give an honest fuck about Radious or his mod, so I've never tried it, couldn't give a shit about it."

"No idea, never cared about playing either of those mods."

"They're so fucking fat - cant even get their fat lubmering ass through the door. Thats why they got anger issues they're taking out on me" (In context he was talking about "trolls" on his mods page)"

There is a mod that allows you to play as a United Rome, it is Fanfiction and set in the same timeline, except the Farther of Arcadius and Honorius, Theodosius the 1st didnt die of diease and is still alive however that mod is not created by this mod author and a creater problem is that mod is 4 turns per year (instant ruin for me as im a hard RP'er) and the MAJOR problem is it is hard to get it to work properly in a loadout if you're like me you have crusader unit mods for the barbaric states and need flag and symbol mods all of which arent compatible but if you can handle the base verison of the mod then i recommend it just type in "Rome United" and it should pop up, the Rome color is a nice reddish tan i hope i helped

Thank you c: its just really time consuming playing as the WRE ( i dont mind) but then the ERE can literally take the whole empire by 398 a.d and i usually have to just straight bum rush the West because once i reunite the empire no one dares declare war on me so its easier to just rush in at the start and spend the next couple of years preparing for the Huns, but as the West it becomes a MAJOR flaw almost forcing me to do peace treaties with the East once the huns or some or nation insteads my northern border because its impossible to capture Africa, Syria, and all of Greece while at the same time defending Illyria, Brittain and Gaul which wouldnt bother me if it wasnt so Easy for the East, and i Play Pagan as the West and Christian as the East so i need my pagan fix (*_*)

I believe The East only Needs 4 provinces to Reunite, while the West needs 5, if you could add Brittain or Gaul, or even spain so that it doesnt become so easy, i find myself betraying the West in the First 2 years to rush in and reform because no one dares attack me after i annex the West, by as the West i find myself forced into broking peace deals and treaties with the East due to the amount of time and resoures i have to devote to that conquest, then the huns come from the North and i have to send my legions there.

Hello DET i dont know if you remember me, i CANNOT play the game without this mod, and the barbarian kingdom verison of it, it adds so much immersion.

Now i would like to talk about the MAJOR flaw of this Mod, The ERE needs to Capture all of italy and the Carthage Province, this is exetremely easy to do with a surprise attack, however it takes nearly 5 whole tears of 12 TPY for the West to take the key strategic positions in the East since their spread on all corners unlike the West.
Can you make it where the East has to Capture like Brittain or Gaul or something to even it out
or Remove Egypt from the Requirement for the West? This mod is brilliant but this minor flaw has become major after over 600 hours of testing

Does this mod edit the base income settings?? I have several other mods enabled and have not had this problem until I subscribed to this mod. I'm making 21,000,000 a turn now.... Much needed money but damn, it's a little ridiculous if you ask me lol

So I figured out what it was, the barbarian hordes expanded mod was messing with the ability to recruit the Cohors Prima (which is wonderfully OP and I can't wait to get the Aquilae upgrade). Disabled it and luckily it didn't mess up my save and I saw the tech you are talking about, you need the final military tech to get the segmentata troops. Thank you for the awesome mod and for being helpful with my questions.

Ok, so disabling every mod i had shows the eagle cohort barracks provides "cohors prima", but shouldnt there be more than that?

Hello, I think I'm having an issue. I can only seem to access the early period units. I played as Eastern Empire and reunited rome, but when I build the legionary cohort barracks it doesn't allow me to hire any new units. I did have another unit pack I thought might interfere, but I removed it and started a new game and the legionary cohort barracks still shows now new units when you look at it in building browser, so I don't think that was it. Should the eagle cohort building let me make the better units with lorica segmentata or can I only use those as the west in custom battle?
