I'm thinking this mod probably doesn't work in Official Servers because of sv_pure, but I'm not entirely sure.

i am curious is it possible to change where the icons are? as in when youre in an objective and its literally right in the middle taking up a lot of needed view space, would be better, a lot better on the side at least or bottom

What do you mean? Only move swastika gui.vpk and ignore swastika gui.vpk.sound.cache? Could you be so kind to explain?

Seems like the kind of mod that would could be used without manual installation.

Hi, Ricky. I've followed your instructions in the description there, but, for some reason, I can only get the swastikas to work in "pvp" mode. I've tried a few servers for "stronghold" in cooperative mode, but no luck getting them to work. Any ideas, mate?

You have to take it from
([Steam Location with DOI]\steamapps\workshop\content\447820[Look through the folders for swastika gui.vpk])
And move it swastika gui.vpk to
([Steam Location with DOI]\steamapps\common\dayofinfamy\doi\custom) Create the custom folder if you don't have one

mods not working for me

In the steam games library, right-click Day of Infamy and a click properties, a window should pop up. In that window click on the tab that says "Local Files" and then press on the option "Browse Local Files." If you want the workshop folder, go back to the steamapps folder, then go into a folder named "workshop" and then another called "content." Then there is a bunch of folders with numbers, these are all appid's for the games you have workshop subscriptions to. Open the folder "447820" (DOI's AppID). Then search for a file called swastika gui.vpk in the folders or arrange the folders by date and if you just subbed to the mod it should be the top folder. If not you can unsub and resubscribe and it should be at the top.

Just to point out, the vanilla symbol in the game (Balkenkreuz) is the actual symbol of the Wehrmacht. The Swastika is the symbol of the NSDAP or Nazi Party which was the political party in power at that time.
