I don't have any real modding experience, but since both patches are really similar, I just stitched the two together. The idea really appealed to my taste.

There's another mod that lets you wall climb if you press up while trying to wall jump. Could that be implemented here? It'd be amazing to have the best of both worlds.

You can replace Freedom of Movement wall jump tech by making this mod loads after Freedom of Movement.

In your .metadata, add this line:

"include" : "FreedomofMovement"

@Nexhin quick update, no i cannot release it as a patch due to patches not working with LUA files. And that is what is edited by this mod.

Would it be possible to release this mod with the patch format? It's rather inconvenient having to disassemble another mod just to get this one to work.

This is a must-have! It's so annoying when I'm exploring/fighting and my flashlight/weapon is put away when wall-jumping is a necessity. Thanks for putting this up!

so he has to fix his mod to be compatible with mine. i could release a version of his mod that works with mine but i would need his permission first

the only way to make this compatible with freedom of movement is a version of that that has their walljump changed removed

I miss being able to cling to walls and fire off shots ala MegaMan X. Is a compatibility patch with Freedom of Movement in the works?

Just tested mixing the mods myself. This is the best!

All I did was delete the jump folder from the Nexus version of Freedom and it worked! :)

I would really love to have this mod and the changes to the other techs from "Freedom of Movement."

If I get the manual install of that mod and just remove the wall jump part from Freedom of Movement will this mod work ok or will this cause issues from removing the file inside from the other mod?

Well if annother mod updated and it automatically downloaded it could have broken it. you should check the version history of that mod. I could possibly make a compatability patch if you need

I haven't made any mod-related changes before this happened. Would it suddenly decide to change out of the blue like that? I do have another mod that alters Walljump (and others), but it was all working together before. (I know, rookie move installing multiple tech mods, but I was hopeful.)

not sure. probably somthing conflicting with one of your other mods

cause this hasnt changed. Check the other mods to see if anything modified wall jump tech or multijump tech because that will break this mod.

Ooookay... My Starbound just updated today and this mod seems to not be working all of a sudden.
Will provide info on request, but I haven't done anything else that I'd say is worth noting. Do ask though. Thanks.

@forcedminer instruments WILL work. I could probably mod it to work with those other things too but it could cause some minor issues.

useable weapons while..........while..........oh man.


this COULD mean it won't stop musical instruments from stopping when you wall slide.
This is great i really hope it functions as i wish.


[a while back instruments could be played while teleporting,driving a car/boat,in ball form and wall sliding...recently they now stop....i miss this feature greatly...]
