While I understand this function is now in the base game, having a button to quickly summon/dismiss a draft following animal would be awesome.

Digging through animal tabs mid fight is not ideal.
is this updated?

idk from modding experience.Rather have less mods then more.Might conflict more otherwise.

But don't know anything how rimworld does it but seems to be extremely robust.

So so so need this updated.. shot my damn dog just the other day.. or maybe the enemy shot him. I don't know cuz HE WAS WONDERING AROUND IN FRONT OF MY BUNKER IN THE MIDDLE OF A FREAK'N FIREFIGHT!! Not a very smart dog at all..

@essentiality, you do realize the ability to make them no follow your colonists when drafted is an option in the vanilla game now right?? has been for a while now.

@Shieldwall no need to update this mod cause it has been included in A16. You have the same options as petfollow gave you in the vanilla animal tab and fluffys animal tab.

But by default, following the master is enabled in vanilla as soon as you train them obediance. Petfollow did the opposite

@Magikarp I do not believe this mod is needed for A16 as I believe that all mod functionality has been added to the core game.

Would it be possible to have a tamed animal that has formed a bond follow the pawn that it has bonded with, regardless of circumstance (If set not to follow when going to tame, hunt, or draft then it would assumedly not follow). It's somewhat unnecessary but seems like something to add a little more atmosphere to the game (might also increase the haul frequency rate idk how that works.)

There seems to be a bug when you tame a animal and you click on it in the animal list, the animal does not show up at all. It says that it's tamed but when you click on it to see it ( from the list) It's not there at all. It's the craziest thing ever. So basically i have a list of animals that are "tamed" but do not exist. Otherwise this is a great mod

@SatanaTesticles_LOA That exactly what I came here to mention! Overall the mid is fantastic, but I've suffered a lot of confusion as to whether my Wargs were set to follow. Recently my pregnant Warg wandered into a fire fight and miscarried due to her injuries! The X system would be fine if it was consistent with other options already in the game but it isn't. I think really it should alternate between a green tick and a red cross like switches do.

One question I have is how so I control releasing animals for combat? Or do they always do this of they have the training?

Not sure if I am just super duper unlucky or just a bug but after training obedience on a wolf I turned on this mod. Now I can't seem to train it anything else without it failing with %15. I have tried many times but it has not succeeded once. Idk maybe im just unlucky :)

is it just me, or a little confusing when theres a big red X over the follow, but still follows? maybe instead of an X put a "check mark" that would make sense

This would have been so helpful in my a14 save. Lost half my damn pets to friendly fire in my kill-zone during a raid.

@Mercenary do you still play with the A14 PetFollow? There is a bug in A15 with textures. In previous verions PetFollow used designations on pets with a transparent texture which caused the issue. In the newest version it does not use the designation method anymore.

PetFollow does not modify or add textures ON pets. Only adds the command buttons and icons in the animal tab

minor bug that made me laugh. I had 4 rain barrels put down.

I ticked on PetFollow.

It turned my existing barrels into white squirrels and when I zoomed out, turned them into skeletons.

@pkoko It works on A14. There must be something else with your game which breaks the mod.
But you can download the A14 version from the ludeon forum post (link in the description here). Keep in mind, that the old A14 version still required the Community Core Library

@Marvin. Not really. You can simply turn off "auto update" workshop items for this game. The best of both worlds. :)

I agree with Lethann. Making a seperate version may be inconvenient for people who want to update to A15, but it's just as inconvenient for people who want to stay with the A14 version and finish off a game.

Yeah I just ran it as A15 even though I'm in A14. I did a dev mode test and no problems. And @Lethann I saw that some authors are doing that and it bothers me. I have 52 mods installed and I'll have to go search for what I'm missing amongst them in the workshop. :/
