Ragdoll Resizer creator here. This is really old, but I took a look at this bug, and it turns out it's actually because Gmod doesn't like the file name, of all things.

Models with "_anim" in their name (and plenty of other things) automatically get caught in a "useless model" filter, because files with these names are usually used to store animations for other models, and don't need to be spawned by themselves. They won't even show up if you use the search bar.

This matters because util.GetModelInfo() ( http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/util/GetModelInfo ), which the tool uses to get the info it needs to make the resized ragdoll, also doesn't work on models that get caught in the filter.

Ah, understood. Not very knowlegeable in the realm of modeling and rigging, interesting though. Thx for the response.

It's because they use procedural bones. Any alterations to the model in terms of size would affect it and therefore not work.

Noticed that the model is not compatible with the Ragdoll Resizer Tool anymore. Tried to make a tabletop figure for a scene and the model came up with errors and dissappears when removed from the Resizer's interface. The model still seems to be there since it still emits a shadow. Just an oddity I wanted to mention. It also happens with the Nui ragdoll as well.
