When I was making this mod, I was concerned that the weapon might be too weak and not up-to-scale against monsters and bosses from other mods. Giving it a high DPS could be considered a compromise between the base game and various unpredictable mods.

As for hiding the floating icon, I have not played or modded Starbound in a long while. Maybe I will get back to it one day.

I haven't tested, I just had to uninstall all of my mods... because I had so many the game wouldn't start up.

i need help with some testing. yesterday i found the lab coat appears invisible. I currently don't have FU installed. Wonder if this has something to do with FU? because when i made this mod i had FU on.

Objects are built with JSON, while any code is done in Lua.

Can you make decorations overlay the player...? Hmm. In theory, I think you could... It would involve setting the object's renderLayer property to something that renders over the player. The question I don't have an answer for at present it; Does such a renderlayer exist?

The Breach Attractor decoration is huge, and can't be used as a crafting station.

Depends what you mean by having them... As pure decorations, probably not TOO tricky, but if you wanted the Rusalki as interactive entities... that would be more difficult. Not helped by the fact that personally, I know nothing about getting enemies to work.

i saw your wepon and the function of picking what ability you want maybe if its ok with you i could use some of the coding in the mod to make a wepon for my mod, let me know i would give you credit

I don't know if this will help at all, but as far as I can tell in the current build the problem only seems to be occuring when I swap from the Ion Beam to another weapon. I also haven't had it not update the sound effects either (yet), but I'm less sure that this means anything.

Yeah, it's the same bug. Sometimes parameters aren't updated properly, so as an example if you switch from a mode with a slow firing rate to one with a fast rate, you'll still have the slow firing rate unless you switch away from the Axiom Disruptor and then back. I still haven't been able to figure out why this happens, which makes fixing it pure luck.

Nova is just a placeholder for now. The projectile's sprites are not finished yet.

that slow ROF bug is probably related to the sound bug.

I have another bug to report, though I have yet to check if it is still in the version that fixed the Hetseeker. The Shards and Quantum Variegator's rate of fires would be really slow upon logging in as of the update on June 20th (it goes away if you stop holding the gun, so it may be related to the bug that causes the sound affects to not change?). If it's still in the game, I'll probably upload it to pastebin early this week. Also, not really related to that, but I think you may have left the Nova weapon out of the mod description.

The bug should be fixed now. I've provided Atlas with the new version; Sadly, I can't upload myself.(slightly off-topic rant warning) Valve won't let you upload unless you're the original author of the mod. Because... reasons, apparently.

@Da Wrecka I'm not familiar with Pastebin, but from looking at the log files it looks like the projectile isn't spawning in because it fails to load the image assets for it.

The heatseeker weapon seems to be acting up. its not showing any sprites and not doing any damnge but its useing energy and makeing sounds. the rest of the gun is working perfectly fine though. any ideas why that is?
