The main thing of this mod is to have something pretty balanced for vanilla (and SE) Ark. Sorry :o
Now a different friend and I have played serveral Single Player games testing out mods and what balancing we want to do for a server of our own. We have both been using your mod with default settings, me on Ragnarok and my friend on a couple of unfinished maps while he explored them.
After an extended period of time all we have gotten from every drop is vanilla items and BPs.
We were running different mods with a couple of mods in common.
I only have ACM, Classic Flyers, and SRS Balanced Stacking before it.
Any Idea what is going on or how to fix it?
Keep in mind that high quality requires tons of materials. That's already pretty balancing, so don't worry too much.
Primitives only is pretty boring and too high settings also aren't that great. I like to have a high variance, so I use settings like min=0 and max=10 (or another high quality level) and I'm fine with that.
The Yellows and Reds in your example may be a bit too strong here. Imagine an Ascendant Riot shield or something - that thing would take tons of crystals to make. Perhaps just downtone those (like decrease the mins a bit) two variants and you're good. :-)

I'm done with the dev kit, really. I spent 900 € on a new PC to make working with it more fluent (Octa-core 3.3 GHz, 16 Gigs Ram), but that wasn't enough. Good thing I won't need to update often from now on.
After all, I'm happy to see what happened here though. :-)

Figured I'd share it incase it matters. I imagine that just has to do with the editor itself for the ini but, I posted it regardless.
With all this I really am out of idea's. If it doesn't work for us then it doesn't work, nothing much to be done for a game still in early alpha and hasn't quite reached Beta yet, though they are quite close.

The only thing I can concieve since you used the direct reference to maps is that we are using Ragnarok as our Map. Now, Ragnarok is a relatively new Vanilla map and I assume that when you say Vanilla your referring to any map sponsored directly as a direct DLC by Wild Card Studios and well, since your mod has not been updated since May of this year and Ragnorok was made an official DLC as of June 12th I believe it's safe to conclude that due to the new loot tables provided within this map it is in fact your mod that is out of date.
If this conclusion is correct for this case then problem solved. If not then I'm out of ideas.

Either: these weren't my beacons or: something else went horribly wrong.
You could try and omit any options and check again - also if you look at them (without opening their inventory) they should say "Level xx crate" or "Big level xx crate". The xx is to be replaced with the required level, of course.
If that isn't the case, it's unlikely that it was BP's fault. Perhaps you played on another map, but that may be unlikely as well. :o
We tested all of the other beacons and the loot came out as we wanted (ramshackle to journeyman) and expected for both normal and double quality. Unless your saying double quality's base value is always ascendent for red double when all the other beacons of double quality are not behaving like this than this was the only source we found to explain the issue.
Red Double beacons (Level requirement 75 here) are pretty rare. Did you have some other settings which, by mistake, made most beacons too strong?

And no matter what I do it always drops Mastercraft and pearlescent (not ascendent, pearlescent which is the highest rating) gear and saddles. This is insanely aweful and super OP, defeating the purpose of having options. As a result my server(s) are now removing this mod. Thanks for the effort, but we don't have time to waste on this mod to wait for it to update. During that time players all max out pearlescent gear and we have to wipe server to rebalance.
