This one was great! It took me a minute to figure out where to put the funnels, but I got it easily enough

I don't get part four of this test. I mean I got the exit to open but I just don't get why that works. Other than that, OK map.

A real brain teaser for sure. The Red Fizzers made it hard to see the white panels behind them.

Indeed it isn't, and I think it made hitting the switch on the ceiling a little harder too. Very good solution to that problem imo... Fast too, I just said that yesterday...

As woodbeam said, you can skip part 2 entirely, but you have to ride it almost to the ceiling so it shouldn't take much to prevent that, should you want to.

Great map overall - yeah the last part was fiddly but it made me think so good puzzle!

I just played this for the first time, and I found that if you use the funnel to almost get to the ceiling after pressing the switch, you can fall out of the funnel and hit the step 3 panel in midair with enough time to get into the step 3 chamber, skipping step 2 entirely. Also, if you don't get out of the funnel right after entering the step 3 chamber with it, you're forced to reset.

Liked the map overall, especially the use of the funnel, but I agreee that the final laser/portal solution is kinda awkward. could do with exapnding that last room before the exit and make it more challenging AND elegant.

The cube got stuck in the dispenser when I tried to get a new one. No matter how many times I pressed the button it wouldn't get fizzled either, just remained there stuck in the dispenser.

Ignore these nay-sayers, it's a good map -- not too obvious, and with a nice sense of accomplishment when finished. The one nitpick I'd agree with is that it'd be nice to have a bit more space to position the laser cube -- the actual puzzle is *not* too "strange and unconventional".

Too much margin for error, too much time spent repeating the same actions over and over trying to get it perfect. Did not enjoy.

Now you've added those few seconds to the timer, I could do it OK. Hard map, but not TOO hard. I figured out how to do everything after a little thought, though agree that the laser puzzle at the end is too fiddly, but managed it finally.

<Moving-DEATH> aha, well then I understand what you wanted to say, yep I know that some things in this map are not obvious, and player have to figure it out actully by tips and tries, I know it isn't actually right, but that makes the map challenging and the more obvious it would be the easier would be the map itself, yes there are different, and better ways to create harder puzzle, but this was actually my first attempt to make some challenging puzzle, actually when I was making this map I didn't expect that it will be challenging for players, so yeah, thanks for telling me what to improve next time if I'll be someday making some "harder" map again :D, and sorry for that I didn't get it how did you actually mean it earlier

@Author: Oh, I don't mean to say you should make the solution explicit like that, but occasionally if something doesn't occur directly in the player's line of sight, it won't register that it happens at all. Anyhow, it's not as though the map flawed beyond redemption, only that it has this one particular aspect which I thought you should be aware of.

Do you have to throw the cube through the laser into the pit at any point? If so, that's a bad design. If not, I'm completely stumped.

I found this map extremely more challenging than your 1st map.
got stuck a few times.
eventualy eurika moment would hit, like going back to previous buton, to destroy & re-selecting deflector cube
completing this map has used up all my remaining brain cells.
if they get any more challenging, I'm doomed.
but you did yourself proud.

Some nice stuff but the laser qube at the end was WAY to fiddly. Way too many laser burns for it to be considered an elegant puzzle, but still gave it a thumbs up..

this puzzle is frustrating and not good. Dumb luck, trial and error, twitch shots...it's not a thinking puzzle, it's a waste of time.

thank you all, KamanariWolf and TBJ, yep I know about that error but because the map was originally made in editor, I can't fix it
strider, yep you're right, I tried to put the laser catcher and laser relay at least a bit far from each other to at least partially prevent that error, good to hear that you didn't have this error

Just when I thought the puzzles were over, I had to get the door opened! I only succeeded with the 'formal' solution, and I found the whole level quite challenging!

that door error never happened to me... usually, the time of the two laser receivers being activated is far less than the time of door unlocking... btw the "formal solution" requires a little brute force, but nothing absurd two portals aside

This was a really good map. I liked figuring out the steps and how the challenges kept coming! Im really shit with laser puzzles tho but due to an error the door stayed open when I flailed the cube around! Lucky me!

Hey! Thanks for the great map! There is one issue though- the door at the end can easily be opened by swinging the refraction cube quickly so as to power both recepticals in rapid succesion. That's how I originally solved it :)

I totally don't get it and can't even find the walkthrough link. where can I find the walkthroughs for parts 3-4? 1 and 4 are great I just can't seem to be able to figure out 2 and 3...

Btw, just to add this is a neat puzzle. Having several mini-puzzles solved in a particular order is quite satisfying.

lars: yep exactly that what The Flying Claw is saying, in the walkthrough, that's old version, and since I made the walkthrough I updated the map a few times, so in the current version the layout of the laser section is different, exactly as The Flying Claw is saying

hey u should take a look a the end part with the lazer. in the vid there is a nother portal area but it is missing in the current version. maybe there is a nother sollution now but couldnt find that

Jeff: yep, but as I said I fixed it already, partially only though, because it's error of editor that the laser catcher and laser are made wrong, and I just can't fixed because of all are instances

Skunkrocker: well thanks, I thought that the indication going to the gap will make players realize that they must get there cube, maybe I should add an arrows to make it more obvious
dcook: well the same thing I wrote Skunrocker, I'm gonna make an update, but you are the first having trouble exactly with this, that's interesting
