Fun level! Idk why people are being so harsh, I loved this entire series.
tman507se 28 Jan, 2020 @ 8:00pm
Well that was definitely a strange trick with the blue gel. Nice work with the map pack.
jam.lab1 24 Aug, 2014 @ 6:05am
Good job. I had to think.
wildgoosespeeder 9 Aug, 2014 @ 10:27pm
It was OK. At first I didn't think I solved the last bit right with the blue gel. Overall, OK map.

Cool map.

The four maps were very enjoyable, thanks again, good work ...

Just finished this last map, loved it as much as the others. Thanks for making them. The puzzle aspect was neither too dificult nor too easy, some parts required a bit of physical coordination and technique, but it wasn't too tricky to manuever. And despite what others say, I actually loved the bit about the repulsion gel and funnel. The gel behaved the way the game physics intended- it had momentum, which pushed it through the hole. I don't think it was cheating physics any more than making an infinite loop to gain enough speed to propel across a room. That's kind of what the whole Portal game is about- using physics in unexpected ways to help you get from point A to point B. That's a major component of problem solving throughout the game, and frankly, a large part of the game's charm.

Ok that was very good. I played through all maps and had a blast. Very clever work, Thanks for the fun....

Amazing mappack!
FatFed 31 Jan, 2013 @ 5:37am
I've just finished all 4 parts! Very nice work!
Mr Fraggle (UK) 13 Sep, 2012 @ 1:26am
Dom44 I can assure I most certainly was holding W but thanks for the response and tip.
Dom44  [author] 12 Sep, 2012 @ 11:32am
Mr Fraggle (UK): You can do that, if you will hold W while jumping above the goo it'll certainly help.
Mr Fraggle (UK) 12 Sep, 2012 @ 10:28am
Sorry but five times I had the cube but virtually stopped dead so of course fell in the goo. Time to move on I think.
Dom44  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 3:59am
Yes it's not complete AS lore, but I explained it already
I before A except after K 8 Sep, 2012 @ 3:22am
While I've certainly enjoyed these maps, I can't help but wonder how they have anything to do with the Lore of Aperture Science. There's no dialogue to be found, let alone lore.
Dom44  [author] 21 Aug, 2012 @ 7:19am
fri: well yeah, that's idea as well, but I just want to have it as I created it, and it's gonna be like this and I won't be changing anything, you know in every map you could come up with some idea how to change it, but I don't think it is necessary here
fri 21 Aug, 2012 @ 6:54am
You could have cleverly used the cube and ball found in the first room to unlock the final door - that would give them a real purpose other than just opening the door to the second room.
Asuro 1 Aug, 2012 @ 11:41am
I like the design of your puzzles very much. I'ts not very complex, but still very hard in a way. Well done! :)
Quarks123 27 Jul, 2012 @ 7:11am
great puzzle till the end. a saw no bugs so far and its very hard to figure out what i can do and what is wrong (sometimes i did the wrong choice ^^)
PsychoBR 15 Jul, 2012 @ 1:39pm
Hard, but, very very fun! Great puzzle. Thumbs up!

mood3rd 24 Jun, 2012 @ 11:52am
just played this again
great map
tried getting blue gell again, works intermitantly,
even though I used correct portal.
I tried many times & some good, some fail.
perhaps it's my timing ?
anyway as I said great map.
hope you make more.
thankyou very much.
Baggy 24 Jun, 2012 @ 2:36am
I agree with Stric_Matic - using the blue gels own momentum to drip it out of portals seems kinda like exploiting a loophole rather than an actual solution. But thankyou for a great set of maps - I've enjoyed all of them!

I really enjoyed playing this map. Well done!
LPChip 17 Jun, 2012 @ 4:49am
It really sucks that you loose momentum when grabbing a cube in the air. Valve should really fix this. You can still overcome it by holding forward button and strave, but it makes it unnecessary hard.
Stric_Matic 16 Jun, 2012 @ 1:12pm
Not bad, thought the way the gel can ''drip'' through a portal when it has some momentum left from being in the funnel feels kinda weird. Sort of like we're trying to cheat the physics.
Majicman444 13 Jun, 2012 @ 3:49pm
finished awesome maps

fINISHED IT , pretty good, makes sense, - mlg legit pro torch
Tonys714 13 Jun, 2012 @ 2:03am
Good, the last blue paint section was a little bit "roll your eyes." But very solid, I thoroughly enjoyed all four of these. Thank you.
mood3rd 12 Jun, 2012 @ 11:20am
good map
got stuck trying to get to lazer. tried moving blue repultion goo almost the correct way, exept, must have fired wrong portal at floor.so wasted time looking for diifferent sollution got their in the end though.
Doc Photon 10 Jun, 2012 @ 11:35pm
OK, but not my fav of the four. Guess I don't like having to go thru the same portals that goo is dripping on.
Psidium 10 Jun, 2012 @ 8:32pm
It's a good mappack, not so easy, neither hard. Yet, I thought that the 3rd map was kind of boring 'cause of the repeat that the player need to do to get the map done, thus the 1st was super easy.
Good work,
GBF
JR 10 Jun, 2012 @ 3:10pm
Did a lot of playing around before I discovered the odd behavior of the gel in the funnel. Finally got that blob in the middle of the floor and hopped my way to Victory! Nicely done! Thank you for your efforts...all the maps in this series are well thought-out and beautifully executed.
Dom44  [author] 10 Jun, 2012 @ 2:15pm
ArgleBargle: Thanks, also IrdescentShadow didn't get stuck in this chamber, he's talking about the one where is funnel
ArgleBargle 10 Jun, 2012 @ 1:04pm
Well, that was a very nice map indeed. I can understand the complaint of "engine exploit" but if it works, it works. I just add that to my bag of tricks to try with other maps. Speaking of having things in your bag of tricks, IridescentShadow: A long run of orange gel ending with one blob of blue will automatically launch you when you hit it at full speed. It's used in a lot of maps to jump gaps like the one in the chamber you got stuck on.
Dom44  [author] 10 Jun, 2012 @ 9:24am
IredescentShadow: just shoot one portal to funnel, one on the wall behind deadly field, wait a few seconds and when the gel will be coming through portals, just shoot a portal to the ground and the gel will drop out from portal to ground, then you can make the jump
strider: thanks!
TBJ: well yeah it's atypical solution but I hope that not so bad, also thanks
TBJ 10 Jun, 2012 @ 7:35am
Fun. I thought the way to move the blue gel was a bit bullshit though. :)
strider_sp 10 Jun, 2012 @ 7:26am
Good pack!
IridescentShadow 10 Jun, 2012 @ 6:57am
I never figured out what to do in the room with the blue gel and the orange excursion funnel - noclipped after I got bored. Other than that it was a good puzzle.
Dom44  [author] 9 Jun, 2012 @ 9:10am
insOmniac: thanks, also how do u mean it with that "next project article is counted on"?
I didn't get it.
insOmniac 9 Jun, 2012 @ 5:58am
MAP3&4 was wonderful although MAP1&2 had bad tempo.
The directions for the braid of MAP3 were interesting.
A next project article is counted on.

Twenty Four: Thank you very much! We'll see what will I make in future :D
Twenty Four 8 Jun, 2012 @ 5:53pm
Great map collection, hope you'll decide to make more :)
Dom44  [author] 7 Jun, 2012 @ 11:25am
<Moving-DEATH> yep, that was my goal to make this puzzle like this
Le Petit Mort 7 Jun, 2012 @ 11:14am
Gel solution is very unconventional, bordering on engine-exploit.
Dom44  [author] 7 Jun, 2012 @ 7:41am
o+=: Thanks! You depicted it exactly as it is with that that the solution is laid out, that's exactly it :D, I didn't even realize till now that it's like this :D
o+= 7 Jun, 2012 @ 7:34am
Difficulty 6/10
Fun 8/10

Well designed map with a decent level of complexity. Solution is laid out but not too obvious.
Dom44  [author] 4 Jun, 2012 @ 10:19am
Portalized: well everyone like something different, but I hope that you enjoyed it at least a bit :D
Meg.A.Byte.CZ: Díky! Sem moc rád že se líbí.
MEG.A.BYTE 4 Jun, 2012 @ 9:42am
i think this is great map
