Love the idea of this mod, wish I had found it years ago. But two things:

1) The way you have your Terramart patch set up can (and does) cause stock overwrites in the shop (Terramart's one of the go-to farming shops, after all). If you use "/-" instead of "/9" in your add operations, the eggs will always be added to the bottom of the list, barring any other targeted overwrites.

2) If you're not willing to update the patch, may I take over the mod and re-release it with updates?

i want to farm pigs to kill and get bacon and chickens to get the eggs, my grandpa shoot pig in head to make the lunch, very exciting to make lunch hehe.

@DragonIlover2004 I have noticed that if the area they are in is too small and there are too many animals, even in vanilla, that the animals wont grow up. Have you tried relocating some critters or opening up your area some to allow them more space? This is how I get them to grow on my ship, I just relocate some until the growing ones have adequate space

Updated, the mod should be compatible with 1.1.1 now. Please be advised, I am not actively playing Starbound right now, so these mods are provided 'as is' with no guarantee of future maintenance. That being said, now that livestock are relocateable I don't anticipate any future updates that will break these types of mods.

Seems something broke this mod for several people, including myself. Bought 10 of each egg to repopulate my farm, as I assumed it was a solveable bug. Planted the eggs, they wiggle, and on a click, pop, no animal.

@Blade Raccoon You can mod the vanilla farm animals so they can be butchered. You'd need to patch the damageTeamType to "passive" rather than friendly so they can take damage. They currently use the hunting droppools.

@Kaldreth Thank you for the feedback. I am not sure how to implement what you suggest, but I did make an update. The animals now produce farmable eggs, which have no resale value. This allowed me to bump up the price of the eggs at the outpost as well. Hopefully this balances things out a bit.

I've noticed it's more profitable to just sell the eggs rather than slaughtering the animals and repopulating my farm. So far, I can't think of a way to balance this out. It should remain convenient and not become tedious to manage. One idea is probably too complex for this mod, but it would be great if animals required food every 10-15 mins. They could pull from a nearby inventory (like the chicken feeder), and if they get food an egg is dropped. If not they check back after the timer resets.

How do you slaughter the animals? They're breeding pretty fast. Awesome mod, btw. This is exactly what I was looking for.
