Reduced audio values in general.

Reduced audio range so it doesn't reach so far.

This will allow you to zoom out and still slightly hear the sounds which should make
them less annoying to use late game :)

Haha, yeah I wondered if it would eventually get old. I might make a mod-add on for this that can do what you ask. The sound system in Rimworld is neat, how it lets you setup up alternative sounds and such, but everything has a for sure Start and Stop noise, and thus they don't get the chance to be randomly selected. So I was having a hard time dealing with that.

Now the zoomed effect thing might be something I can do. I think its set to something like 30 tiles, which is pretty far. Let me take a look now.

anyway to mute the megatron/optimus sounds or lower it to zoomed in only? its fun the first time.. but after awhile gets annoying. Still love and use the mod!

As far as the hopper part. Do you have a Robot Mod you are using that uses Hopper cues?
Or are you asking that this mod do it ?
But being that the cubes cost 50 and it takes 2K energy to fill it, the cubes can just be stored whereever you designate them by zoning yourself perhaps.

Also they are made relatively quickly and it doesn't take long to put them in the generator, so I am not sure an automation system is even needed really. I mean yeah it would suck to run out of power if you forgot to check it, but it holds 20 units, and thats like days of time, so not sure a cue/que type system is really needed. UPDATE - A15 1284 (B) -
NEW FEATURES - As per Bigspeck's suggestions

Now you construct Empty Energon Cubes for 50 steel.
Then you put any Empty Cube into Optimus to fill it.
It costs 2k of energy fire up Optimus now. This is to compensate
the idea that you are filling the Cubes 1:1 Ratio if that makes sense?

They do fill as fast as they are built, this might be altered a bit in a future tweak.

It's advised to turn Optimus off when you aren't using him to save Power due
to the 2k of power requirement, but its up to you and late game it likely won't matter anyways.

Using a Cube still consumes the Cube entirely, so you must build a new one and fill it again.

This will allow you to stockpile Empty and Full cubes as you see fit.

Megatron now makes the Empty Energon Cubes.

Megatron now has a 1 new line (as it would be weird for him to say Optimus's speeches)
(plans to add another when I come across a good wav.)

UPDATE - A15 - .1284 - Just a patch to make the game show up in the mods menu :( However, I updated one of my other mods to A15 so I can start doing rounds on Mod Features. Will keep you posted if something gets finished this weekend.

Update - Still working on upgrading my other mod. It's turned out into quite a bit more work than I thought. But after I get my last mod upgraded, I will take a look at some of the features that were suggested :)

@ Bigspeck - Thanks for the feedback! I do agree a bit on this. I struggled for a bit trying to find something that was costly but not too costly. I wanted it to not require plasteel so you had a chance to get this up early to mid game.

However, like you said, it seems .. strange turning steel into power.

I THINK it's possible to do what you are asking, not exactly sure how, but I have an idea that might work. But the reason I did it the other way around was mainly, I would have power emergencies like you said, where the power would go out even though I had like a dozen batteries nearly fully charged. So this mod allows you to dump in an energon cube in case that happens and get power, especially during a night cycle blackout or something.

Now I like where you are going, uncharged cubes is a good idea to try to do this. I would LOVE to allow you to "farm" your power this way, allowing you to build whole power rigs to perhaps even export the power as a resource :)

Thnks General Desimatorg, I was kind of thinking the same thing when I approached this. Sort of, why not? Also, I had wanted to do something with power a few weeks ago and the idea just hit me the other day to do it this way, and bam here we are :)

Cool graphics, love orignal Transformers but Energon Cubes from steel? Waaaaht? How about creating Energon Cubes when battery(s) are 100% meaning the exesses power gets dumped into the cubes for stockpileing energy in a non battery form. As most of us know the more batterys you have on grid the bigger your Zzzzzt events are so this would be an alternative to going with multiple batterys. Perhaps make empty cubes cost 50 steel and have them chargeable and on discharge keep the empty cube. Not sure why you would want to convert steel into a consumable power source anyway, that seems like a giant divergence from the original power dynamics in the game instead of a slight modificaion. Maybe make cheaper, smaller 1k gens for 125 steel 2 componets and then a bigger one as end game power option. Perhaps 10k gen for 100 uranium, 20 components, 500 steel. Be sure to have hoppers work with the buildings as HaulerBots could make the cube swaps more managable.

Woot, first sub, thanks! Wasn't sure if I went too far with this one, lol. TBH, it feels fairly balanced, and I still haven't got tired of the sounds making Energon cubes makes. But that's just me. Any feedback would be helpful, thanks! :D:
