The timed portal in the first room was rather satisfying to use.

Nice, I liked it.

Another nice monoportal puzzle but this time it takes advantage of the Portal 2 elements a little bit more than the last one.

I love this whole series, shame to see it get so few subscriptions.

Not that popularity contests are what the Workshop's all about, but there's tons of mediocre or way too easy maps from like 2012 that have thousands of subs.

oh, the field in the first chamber, after you run crossways. the timer button puzzle to remove the cube on the button.
Rubycario  [author] 28 Jul, 2015 @ 12:00am
Could you elaborate a bit more on that? Where exactly can you trap yourself?
hsuzumiya6 27 Jul, 2015 @ 9:56pm
possible to trap yourself, or rage quit, that time trial thing is nuts

Nice set of chambers! Speed and a tricky laser!

How do you make your levels no portal gun or single portal gun?

This just went wacky.

When I pressed the timer for the blue portal then I put a orange portal where the blue portal was. When the timer was up, the orange portal stayed there and instead of shooting a orange portal, I shoot a blue portal!

Unfortunately I didn't quite notice the difference in the deadly slime (although I did notice that this test seems to be a bit foggier than most others, as well as the custom unused soundscape). But don't let that get to you. This test continues this concept of awesomeness. The timed blue portal kinda forced me to think ahead for a moment!

I just don't understand why many of the good maps like this one don't get a 5/5 rating (despite any upvotes I give to them) and many other crappy maps do (despite any downvotes I give to them).

@zivi7 The water texture is a custom one. The particle effects are th standard particles the grey liquid underneath and the warm lighinting makes them look different though. I know the second test is more simplistic, but I'd rather not swap them out.
zivi7 13 Jun, 2012 @ 8:40am
Very nice! The first puzzle was harder for me than the second one, maybe they should be swaped? I also really liked the look of the water. Which texture is it? Are the particle effects on it different from the slime ones, too?

Another great map!
ArgleBargle 10 Jun, 2012 @ 3:47pm
Good map. Had to think that one through.
Stratos 9 Jun, 2012 @ 9:42am
Heh, no problem. ;) Besides, I love 'small' details like this. I only really noticed it when I got to the second pool, though, because that one was lit brighter than average.
Rubycario  [author] 9 Jun, 2012 @ 9:24am
Thank you! I'm glad someone noticed the difference in the water. :D You can't see it in the image though, I should probably fix that. xD Thanks for your positive comments on all my maps. :)
Stratos 9 Jun, 2012 @ 9:19am
Wow, I really liked the design in these chambers. Secondary Fire's first map was more normal, but this looks really cozy. And the oily black water is awesome! :O
Rubycario  [author] 4 Jun, 2012 @ 10:22pm
@early I added a video so you could see the solution.

Hmmm... I'm not sure the tilted laser is a legitimate solution or not (that is the solution, right?) But while I'm thinking about it, please accept this upvote.
