what makes this mod "not needed" anymore i dont understand, pawnms still cut eachotehrs heads off when doing minor surgeries and smash my bionics into dust when they fail an install, so it seems pretty necessary still?
Gunseeker 30 May, 2020 @ 2:25am
this mod is always needed lol my colonist just managed to chop off a dudes HEAD while giving him a bionic foot...
Slinger 29 Feb, 2020 @ 6:25am
@nüke okay, thank you. I really appreciated this mod <3
nukita  [author] 29 Feb, 2020 @ 6:18am
this mod has been outdated for a while, i dont think its needed anymore
Slinger 29 Feb, 2020 @ 6:17am
@nüke Any idea yet if this mod is still needed?
Slickcharms 14 Feb, 2020 @ 5:33pm
This mod bugged my game out. It stopped me from being able to order my pawns to do anything. It's pretty much a game breaking bug that this mod caused.
Karlo 19 Oct, 2018 @ 4:11pm
will there be a 1.0 update?
Haraise no Tenshi 18 Sep, 2018 @ 7:58am
As far as I could tell nothing much changed... sadly he added as few new prosthetics (even made them craftable) but surgery seems to work on the same principles

did only testrun a vanilla game for about 2 hours though
nukita  [author] 1 Sep, 2018 @ 12:14pm
i need to see if surgery was changed at all in b19. can anyone confirm if theyve changed anything to be less shitty or do i still need to make this mod
TheEpicKnight91 1 Sep, 2018 @ 11:17am
Update to b19?
Krontixious 24 Dec, 2017 @ 2:07am
Does anybody know if this mod conflicts with Rah's Bionics, Extended Prosthetics or Combat Extended?
nukita  [author] 17 Dec, 2017 @ 2:39pm
i updated so it should work now
nukita  [author] 16 Dec, 2017 @ 3:53pm
oops, will have to update
J.F.K.O 15 Dec, 2017 @ 8:06am
minor bug :P when a surgery "fail" the body part will still be installed. and drop on the floor, so its duplicating the body part
nukita  [author] 12 Dec, 2017 @ 3:20pm
what changes did you make? i can incorporate them into this one
jastro 12 Dec, 2017 @ 11:56am
D'Car 1 Dec, 2017 @ 4:01am
the updates. it needs them.
Vedrit 25 Nov, 2017 @ 6:20pm
Hmm...been a couple months since the author said anything, and even longer since update. I hope this mod isn't dead...
Fuglypump 22 Nov, 2017 @ 2:55am
B18 update soon?
nukita  [author] 16 Sep, 2017 @ 4:56am
it should work with that
Gfurst 15 Sep, 2017 @ 11:48am
So while it may conflict with EPOE (extended prosthetics), because of changing those core surgery recipes, it should not conflict with that simple one Prosthetics Crafting, right?
Elkstone 20 Jul, 2017 @ 6:19am
Any chance of a standalone mod?
nukita  [author] 6 Jul, 2017 @ 4:08pm
i assume that extended prosthetics and organ engineering might mess with the recipes, and probably breaks my mod somehow
Jouta Kujo's『Charmy Green』 5 Jul, 2017 @ 1:48pm
I'm installing a peg leg with this mod, and even though my colonist fails, i'm not getting any damaged peg legs back.
this is the mod list

hi, i also asked on the forum thread, but does this mod fix the vanilla bug of medicine potency not applying to surgeries?
https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=32763.0
nukita  [author] 12 Jun, 2017 @ 3:06pm
this mod uses HugsLib to detour the surgery recipes. this means it should be compatible with other mods that add new recipes, as long as those mods do not actually change the surgery recipes.
TheToric 11 Jun, 2017 @ 8:44pm
will this effect mods that add surguries, sutch as RSBE? if not, any chance of a compatability patch?
nukita  [author] 8 Jun, 2017 @ 7:31pm
you can manually grab the a16 files here.. https://bitbucket.org/twoski/rimworldmods/src/20f1b7b
Sayaaki 7 Jun, 2017 @ 11:09pm
Is there any possibility I can download the A16 version?
d_valroth 7 Jun, 2017 @ 8:07am
Yeah, even with the A17 values "doctors" are still cutting people's heads off installing peg legs. Thanks for updating this!
nukita  [author] 6 Jun, 2017 @ 3:05pm
nope, they used to be, but tynan changed them in a17 so i dont have to do anything to their potency
TheToric 6 Jun, 2017 @ 12:13am
so are normal meds changed?
nukita  [author] 4 Jun, 2017 @ 7:50am
this mod changes the surgery code so that it doesnt automatically destroy implants, etc.
Shelen 3 Jun, 2017 @ 8:28pm
Hello, Nuke!
thanks.
Daniel_USA 3 Jun, 2017 @ 7:01pm
does your mod override any of the algorithms? because I've had some shitty dr's do surgeries with nothing but herbal medicine and the worst that occurs are cuts and losing my implant.
nukita  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 6:43pm
they improved herbal, it used to be 0.4 now its 0.6.

normal meds are 1.0 and glitterworld meds are 2.2, at least in the current version

they did tweak the algorithms for failures to be slightly nicer but i still didn't like them that much
Daniel_USA 3 Jun, 2017 @ 5:28pm
weren't medicines changed in A17 to help out with surgeries?

i thought regular medicine is now 1.2 potency.
nukita  [author] 3 Jun, 2017 @ 2:58pm
updated to .17

let me know if any errors happen
Shelen 26 May, 2017 @ 10:22pm
Hello Nuke,
will this be updated to alpha 17 soon ?
Admiralthrawnbar 9 Feb, 2017 @ 4:20pm
Thank you, How you stab someone in the foot while installing a new eye is beyond me.
Haraise no Tenshi 22 Jan, 2017 @ 12:35pm
Thank you nuke :)
Grimelord82 21 Jan, 2017 @ 9:07pm
I came looking for this mod after my Medicine 15 doctor, in a sterile suite with hospital bed and ALL SD medical add-ons, using normal medicine, stabbed his 4th patient to death...so yeah, this is necessary.
Dingo 21 Jan, 2017 @ 3:38pm
Yes, it's now compatible with those mods as long as HugsLib is installed and loaded before this mod.
nukita  [author] 21 Jan, 2017 @ 10:18am
most likely, although i havent tested
Guardian :D 21 Jan, 2017 @ 10:17am
so this mod now comepatible with epoe and a dog said?
nukita  [author] 21 Jan, 2017 @ 9:34am
ok big update.

this mod now uses HugsLib to detour the surgery recipes. this means it should be compatible with other mods that add new recipes, as long as those mods do not actually change the surgery recipes.
Haraise no Tenshi 21 Jan, 2017 @ 6:10am
Any chance on you using the "hugslib" for your changes instead of the old A15 "xml hack" style? in regards to compatibility with "EPOE" and "A Dog said" ?
nukita  [author] 20 Jan, 2017 @ 2:56pm
ok i updated potency

- Herbal medicine is now 0.5 potency (default value is 0.4)

- Regular medicine is now 0.75 potency (default value is 0.7)

- Glitterworld medicine is now 1.5 potency (default value is 1.6)
Nishe 20 Jan, 2017 @ 1:49am
@nuke and thanks a lot for the update!
Nishe 20 Jan, 2017 @ 1:49am
@nuke I'm pretty sure medicine is less potent. Herbal now says 40% potency and regular medicine says 70%, I'm pretty sure Herbal was 70 and regular was 100.
