is this compatible with Dragonborn and Dawnguard? Because suddenly this mod won't load now that I have them. Though Lanterns of Skyrim parts 1 and 2 load fine.

This is a very good mod, it makes great sense that the villagers would put sources of illumination around the place, it certainly looks better visually. I am having to unsubscribe in order to make room to download other mods (blast this limit of steam!) but before I do I would like to say thanks for a great mod, with any luck I should still be able to load what I have downloaded.

To be honested, I never heard that a mod it causes a reboot of a PC. The only way to do that is to use a DLL via SKSE. It requires few rows in c language to do that. However the Nexus is safe enough from "virus-mod". I'm really sorry about your issues. I recommend you to uninstall and delete THIS mod and then download the "lantern of skyrim all in one" mod on the Nexus. If you've the SKSE and SkyUI mod, download the MCM version of that mod. This because you can choice the kind of lanterns you want: on the roads or on villages.

Strange thing is that I've completed the game, three times, with a lot more mods running than I do now, and never have had an issue. Over 1,200 hours in game with minimal issues. No system crashes until this latest run, which is on a the same machine, but the machine has been reformatted and cleaned up within the last month. All drivers have been updated. No other hardware or software changes. It's an Alien desktop gaming machine so I'm a bit irritated that a game that has run so well in the past is now crashing. The only new mod I was running was the lantern mod. Hmm

Update. Could possible be a ram issue. Still testing, but it appears that the frost breath, on the medium or high detail setting, may be pushing my dual SLI cards to the edge. I found posts online where folks are having similar issues with frost and fire gfx. My thinking is that the lantern mod pushed it over the limit, causing the machine to reboot. Turn off lantern mod and it seems to work ok, for awhile. Had it happen again without this mod running on medium detail so it's obviously not an issue with the mod, per se. Cut it down to low detail and no problems yet. Temperatures are all within norms so not overheating. Sorry for jumping the gun on my comment without fully testing yet.

Well I have been running all the lantern mods for quite a while now with only a minor fps drop which is understandable, but I really think this is a great mod that spiced up my game a lot so I dont really mind the slightly lower fps... other than that I got 0 problems.

GL Chaser hopefully it's just a stupid incompatibilty somewhere and you don't get it in the future with anything else.

Super crash with this installed. Reboots the whole machine. Here's the scenario. Getting attacked by a Blood Dragon. He lands, we're face to face and he spits frost breath at me. Machine reboots. I only have a few mods running. I turned all of them off except this one and have the same problem. Very strange that a lantern mod causes a whole machine reboot when a dragon spits frost breath. Fire breath is no problem. Only frost. I've deactivated this mod and there is no problem with the frost breath. Machine crashes are frightening so I think I'm gonna just not use this anymore. i have other mods that i want to keep that add lots of things but also include some lanterns but only in the wilderness. To avoid conflict i don't want to use the all-in-one but is this one still goo? I just want the towns, does anyone know if this is working. The author seems active.

I was wondering if you could help me out with this mod. I downloaded it and while the light effects are present, they are the most... bizarre, pinkish-red I have ever seen. Like, bloody Pepto Bismol or something. It's definitely distracting. Is there a setting on my end that I need to change?

I have to say the same for this Scenery as I did for the Rifton Scenery. Great and Wonderful! But what happened? It all went away. Now it's back to yuck again! But great while it lasted.

Hello man, there are 18k downloaders and you're the only man that have this problem. Check your mods priority loading. Put my mod at the first position in order of loading.

I was going to be harsh w/ my comment but I won't b/c i don't want to be a d*ck. Most of Falcreath was deleted until I unchecked your mod. I don't have many mods installed and I don't have any that modify exteriors in that region so double check any edits you made there please.

Due to this plugin Skyrim srashes near Winterhold
Mod is great I like it, but due to this error i cant use it. Before 1.6 patch everything worked fine.

P/S/ I am using RCRN 3 Classic

Hello jarrkha, no I did not make that mod. Check the "All In One" mod :) is the merged version of all three mods! On the nexus there is the 2x brighter to for RCRN pure :)

I refuse to use Candle light for my barbarian/warrior and other melee characters, and using a torch gimps our left hand (but there's a fantastic lantern mod that just came out which puts one on your belt -- did you make it?).... your mod is a must for RCRN purist users ;)

I think no. I not discovered any differnce. I've just released the "All In One" mod that merge all my tre mods lanterns and I got no differences.

My villages and my other mods, they doesn't touch/add any lanterns inside walled cities (Whiterun, Solitude, Markarth, Windhelm and Riften) so I think they are safe, just try.

The lights are great! I can definitely enjoy the game alot better now.However i did bump into one minor problem in Whiterun. There are three of the same...person?..near the whiterun stable, one is half way in the road itself. The name slips my mind for some reason but i don't understand how it happend..any suggestions?
