Any other differences are in temrs of SFX, features and sound.

So when you try to run the demo mission you get the errors?
I'd suggest disabling the mods you have and try again. The error you mention has nothing to do with the mission unless your client didn't download the mission properly or is something wrong with the file on STEAM. I'll have a look monday, i am not on my computer now.

I made a small change, the effects should be visible for JIP too. Let me know if you still have issues.
Current version is not available for direct download yet, so use the STEAM version.
