I know, what I'm saying is that it would be impossible to keep the angled lasers at the right angle without the whole stasis thing. Maybe if Valve make a fix so that excursion funnels pointing at each other cancel movement out...

No the problem is not the angled lasers, the problem is the cube stase ^^ I can no longer make flying cubes that will stop in mid air ^^" And there is no way to reproduce this mechanism with the current funnels...

It seems like that part of the update was sort of a mixed bag. On one hand, my Flip Panel Mosaic Concept map just got even simpler, but then this one took a toll. I really liked this one. Maybe you could try to make a version that works... though it would be hard (or maybe impossible) to make the lasers properly angled again.

I'm really sad about this map -_- That was one of my best demonstration of the incredible things you can make with the PeTI editor... But now it's over : the last update of the game broke the "stase" mechanism : so now cubes will always follow a direction when you cross 2 funnels and no longer stop -_-

Beautiful level.

Here are 2 hints if you are stuck
1. No portals need to be placed before the fizzler.
2. Look around the room

Thanks ^^ I spend a lot of time to get the correct alignment (and let it align itself badly at the end :p) but I really like the final effect ;)

at first I thought it was a glitch, when the last reflector did not get hit by the lasser.
but this is portal, so apropriate.
as for tractor beam in conjunction with reflector on angled panel:
to move, then catch & reflect lasser at an angle: wow.

There's an occasional hiccup in the cubes and the lasers won't create the 3rd platform. Still a cool map.

Very well executed. You cleary put a lot of work into this. It is just that I personally prefer maps that are like the game. I appreciate what can be done with the editor, and there should be a category in the workshop for works like these.

UPDATED DESCRIPTION : To everyone who thought that the last cube failed, this is totally expected ^^ You have to place 2 portals when you are on the last platform to open the exit door ;)

@Supreme Gamer : This cube is NOT defective ^^ Go on the platform after the fizzler and place your portals to activate the laser reciever of the exit door ;)

@carl.kenner : Hemmm... As I understood the object stase in a 2 funnels cross will not be removed. But crossing 3 funnels (1 in each direction) may move the cube out of the center of the cross in the next update ;)
