This is an awesome mod. As a fan of the show, I thank you.

Having said that, due to differences between the two 'verse, this simply lacks too many things while rather complicated navigate. Should this be a multiplayer vehicle meant to house a crew of 8 flying in the firefly 'verse, this would be downright awesome. Flying this in the Empyrion universe, the ship has a lot of decoration (adding weight and volume) with no warp drive or defensive system. I was sad to realize that this ship would never leave the system it spawned from and could not travel the 'verse with me.

Thank you again for the work. You have done a great job.

P.S. so... is it possible to place an airlock at the cargo area where Jayne almost got sucked out of by Cap? :D

THX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adding now !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many MODS, all 100 % Rock Solid Steady never any C.T.D.'s Wow ! Wish Skyrim was like this stability wise.............

PS.... This is a big one.... Do you think we can addin Real working Avionic and moving pilots controls like stearing yokes, pedals, H.U.D.'s and have it all work for real not just static pictures....

From my Flight Simulator FS98 - to FSX(Steam Version) I know that such items use very little CPU / GPU from any system, even in 1998 slot one systems, never had even vague difficulty in running the most complex flight computers and fully fleshed avionics.... So if we add it in to this baby, It's going to Rock like never before !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully this'll come with a more reinforced windshield than the original. And yes, I went there.

Great shape and captures the major set pieces well, save engineering, which is one giant blob of metal. I'm looking forward to the exterior re-work, as that's the only downside, looks wise. (Also: needs some reverse thrusters!)
Great base to work from among all the Serenities I've seen. Thanks.
Jaina 12 Oct, 2016 @ 6:53am
man, it's beyond cool! You are god of ship constructing! I made a survival version using your build, if you don't mind =)
Ves 8 Sep, 2016 @ 11:41am
I absolutely love this, Breave. You've done such a good job! I was always curious about the interior layout of the Serenity, as I have a hard time reading the technical documents I find online (my trouble is mostly figuring out how to the decks correlate to each other). This has given me a clear picture and it's wonderful being able to walk the halls :D Thumbs up and subbed!
Joemertrix 6 Sep, 2016 @ 3:27am
I always feel like the theme song should play each time I enter the ship.. lol I wish there was a way, would be great for many ships eg: Death March for the Death Star, ect. Yeah theres a few Serenity Builds out there, now I want a practical one, with the cool of the Ship without the useless rooms for beds ect, though certainly pretty, I want one for War.
Breave  [author] 4 Sep, 2016 @ 12:48pm
This was done as more as nostalgia piece and so I placed importance on being true to the interior first and exterior second. In regards to the warp drive, I was struggling with finding a location in the ship that didn't break the interior or look wrong on the exterior; so put it aside for the time being. In regards to it not flying well; I believe I was clear from the beginning that it didn't fly well.

I want to thank you all for your honest appraisals.
hydrosmith 4 Sep, 2016 @ 11:09am
I'm going to sub to play with in creative, I think the issues are minor and I will have some fun with it! I like it when these are not quite done. I am not all that creative myself but I sure can modify and paint it to my liking! To the author: I won't publish it's just for a little fun in creative, thanks for this!
Kitt 4 Sep, 2016 @ 8:00am
As Malcom would say; "Shiny" I'll wait till the the outstanding issues are fixed before I subscribe. Nice to see another "browncoat", props Breave.
Sub7 4 Sep, 2016 @ 7:42am
To add to my previous comment. This ship is also a nightmare to steer. Don't download this for survival unless you're happy to spend a load of time fixing it.
SaddyPotato 4 Sep, 2016 @ 7:17am
What about building your own warp drive and installing it? These blueprints aren't meant to be the be-all end-all.
WollieG 4 Sep, 2016 @ 5:09am
I wanted to subscribe but when i saw SHARK saying there is no warp drive. Whats the point of having a CV with no warp. It will be a white elephant and no use.
Sub7 3 Sep, 2016 @ 3:39am
I can't believe it. There is no warp drive on this CV. What a waste of my time. FU.
CmdrVoidStar 2 Sep, 2016 @ 1:49pm
I wouldn't mind if you made it bigger, allowing it to look better but be closer to the origonal design
Black fang 2 Sep, 2016 @ 1:19am
good luck on the new build beave, i'll keep an eye out for it
SaddyPotato 1 Sep, 2016 @ 9:08pm
Good luck in your jousting!
Breave  [author] 1 Sep, 2016 @ 4:43pm
I decided to start over as there are critical issues with the exterior. My next attempt will try focus on matching the exterior as well as the interior more closely with the actual ship. Wish me luck. BTW: I will probably leave streaming on for anyone who is interested in watching me tilt at windmills.

As a result I probably won't be updating this design anymore. Thanks to everyone for all the nice & constructive words of encouragement.
Breave  [author] 1 Sep, 2016 @ 4:34pm
Black fang: thanks; I just think I should be honest with myself and others when something sucks; glad you think so too. :)

Startgate476: Hmm well I thought I put it above the walkway to the bridge (above and a block behind) the stairs up. If its not there then I goofed. You got me. :|

Mich Angel: Thats what I was focusing on was the interior; so glad you like it and thanks for the kind words.
Black fang 1 Sep, 2016 @ 11:58am
7) Flies like a pig ( no offense to pigs)
8) Consumes a tremendous amount of energy

just these makes me love it more XD
DesolationGod 31 Aug, 2016 @ 9:54pm
where is the o2 tank on this thing... i cant find it lol
Mich Angel 31 Aug, 2016 @ 6:23pm
Awesome work, real true to the insside layout as good as it can get with what we got to work with. well done :D
Breave  [author] 31 Aug, 2016 @ 4:17pm
My favorite is Jaynes song: "Jayne! A man they call Jayne! He robbed from the rich..." well you know it.

Shadow: Thanks, and such a great jayne reference.

Ashern: I totally agree! I loved farscape. Unfortunately the interior would be a guess except perhaps for the hangar, the bridge, and the fully generic hallways. There is no floor plan per se and the arching hallways would be difficult to reproduce faithfully.

Blue Matter: I concur wholeheartedly; the sky is ours. I often just play firefly soundtrack for inspriation. I still love the theme song.

MR. ROBOT: Hey! HEY! don't statin my ship. jk :) Thanks for the kinds words. Love the reference by the way.

FLYINGWOLF: thanks so much

PrincessAlma: Thanks!

Veronica: Thank you; I was hoping for that response

Reaper: agreed; there is something so quintessentially lovely about the firefly class of shipss; and thanks for the kind words.

Masta Disciple: Wow thanks! That is high praise from a fellow browncoat :)

Fan of Serenity and Firefly here. I recognized it as soon as I seen it. Well done.
Plissken 31 Aug, 2016 @ 2:07am
Fantastic, beautiful and mythical ship. Thanks.:steamhappy:
Sambo 31 Aug, 2016 @ 12:55am
10/10 thats so fucking shinny
Breave  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 9:05pm
Tzion: Kind of you to say, is my head getting bigger? (it sure feels heavier)

Fenra369: Thank you. Gotta say, this one flies like a pig and sucks down the juice. Thanks for noticing the color scheme. :)

Binhthuy71: Wow, thanks for the encouragement and return the salute. We browncoats have to stick together.

Itharus: Lucky, I guess? It was the only choice that looked half way decent. Thanks for nice comment.

UmbraDream: Thanks very much for the kind words, they are greatly appreciated.

joemorin73: I will think on it. atm considering a start over from scratch. Thanks again for the great feeback! :)

Aravox 30 Aug, 2016 @ 8:17pm
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fenra369 30 Aug, 2016 @ 7:33pm
I concur with Jennphurr, you did a great job on this. I was using the old Serenity 4.0 design but it was far too heavy and did fly well. I'll try this out for my PvE trade runs on HWS. The interior looks immaculate (and properly colored!)
binhthuy71 30 Aug, 2016 @ 6:12pm
As a fan of Serenity and Firefly, I salute you. Excellent work!
Itharus 30 Aug, 2016 @ 6:08pm
How in the world did you get the ramp to extend that far @_@
UmbralDream 30 Aug, 2016 @ 4:32pm
Wow! Nice work!
joemorin73 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:56pm
I might be wrong, but it might not be the neck that is too short, but the bridge is too big? Making the neck look small?
Breave  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:24pm
j_wmowat: Thank you for your very kind evaluation.
Incredibad 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:23pm
np man
Breave  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:22pm
Joemorin73: I agree with you as well the neck isn't nearly as elegant as it should be.

Incredibad; I do appreciate your perspective, and I happen to aggree with it as I think the middle needs to be a block or two longer.

I originally atttempted to follow the blueprints focusing on the interior as much as possible. I think if I take what I learned and started over I might come up with a better version. I appreciate all the very constructive feedback. :) Thank you guys.

Incredibad 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:22pm
agreed
joemorin73 30 Aug, 2016 @ 7:30am
@Incredibad It's the neck. it feels like it should be longer. But the interior looks amazing.
Incredibad 30 Aug, 2016 @ 6:48am
bp man it does look very good dont get me wrong it just feels like it needs to be a bot longer in the middle
joemow_1 30 Aug, 2016 @ 3:43am
That's a dam good job.
Breave  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 2:32am
Incredibad, I think I agree with you. I wish there was an easy way to elongate her; I'll think on it.

Thanks for your honest appraisal. :)
Breave  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 2:28am
Captain Adonis, thank you for heads up. I have updated the description.
