Having said that, due to differences between the two 'verse, this simply lacks too many things while rather complicated navigate. Should this be a multiplayer vehicle meant to house a crew of 8 flying in the firefly 'verse, this would be downright awesome. Flying this in the Empyrion universe, the ship has a lot of decoration (adding weight and volume) with no warp drive or defensive system. I was sad to realize that this ship would never leave the system it spawned from and could not travel the 'verse with me.
Thank you again for the work. You have done a great job.
P.S. so... is it possible to place an airlock at the cargo area where Jayne almost got sucked out of by Cap? :D
PS.... This is a big one.... Do you think we can addin Real working Avionic and moving pilots controls like stearing yokes, pedals, H.U.D.'s and have it all work for real not just static pictures....
From my Flight Simulator FS98 - to FSX(Steam Version) I know that such items use very little CPU / GPU from any system, even in 1998 slot one systems, never had even vague difficulty in running the most complex flight computers and fully fleshed avionics.... So if we add it in to this baby, It's going to Rock like never before !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great base to work from among all the Serenities I've seen. Thanks.
I want to thank you all for your honest appraisals.
As a result I probably won't be updating this design anymore. Thanks to everyone for all the nice & constructive words of encouragement.
Startgate476: Hmm well I thought I put it above the walkway to the bridge (above and a block behind) the stairs up. If its not there then I goofed. You got me. :|
Mich Angel: Thats what I was focusing on was the interior; so glad you like it and thanks for the kind words.
8) Consumes a tremendous amount of energy
just these makes me love it more XD
Shadow: Thanks, and such a great jayne reference.
Ashern: I totally agree! I loved farscape. Unfortunately the interior would be a guess except perhaps for the hangar, the bridge, and the fully generic hallways. There is no floor plan per se and the arching hallways would be difficult to reproduce faithfully.
Blue Matter: I concur wholeheartedly; the sky is ours. I often just play firefly soundtrack for inspriation. I still love the theme song.
MR. ROBOT: Hey! HEY! don't statin my ship. jk :) Thanks for the kinds words. Love the reference by the way.
FLYINGWOLF: thanks so much
PrincessAlma: Thanks!
Veronica: Thank you; I was hoping for that response
Reaper: agreed; there is something so quintessentially lovely about the firefly class of shipss; and thanks for the kind words.
Masta Disciple: Wow thanks! That is high praise from a fellow browncoat :)
Fenra369: Thank you. Gotta say, this one flies like a pig and sucks down the juice. Thanks for noticing the color scheme. :)
Binhthuy71: Wow, thanks for the encouragement and return the salute. We browncoats have to stick together.
Itharus: Lucky, I guess? It was the only choice that looked half way decent. Thanks for nice comment.
UmbraDream: Thanks very much for the kind words, they are greatly appreciated.
joemorin73: I will think on it. atm considering a start over from scratch. Thanks again for the great feeback! :)
Incredibad; I do appreciate your perspective, and I happen to aggree with it as I think the middle needs to be a block or two longer.
I originally atttempted to follow the blueprints focusing on the interior as much as possible. I think if I take what I learned and started over I might come up with a better version. I appreciate all the very constructive feedback. :) Thank you guys.
