is there a mod that recreates america and all 50 states and has them as individual civs like you did with Iowa? I imagine that would be a huge undertaking but kinda cool

As long as my hometown is a city it's fine with me

As an Iowan I am deeply offended by this...and by that as an Iowan I think this mod is great! (or at least a bit funny)

Now I can finally live out my dream of crushing those douchebag Illinoisians in an all out war.

@tolaburke - the game automatically increases the threshold for the next Great Engineer, Scientist and merchant when any one of them is born. You can't change that in a mod; instead, if you want one of them to be earned indepedently of the others, you add back points to the other 2. That's how Iowa earns Great Merchants (Great Farmers) separate from Engineers and Scientists

The Great Farmer seems to be giving 100 Great Scientist and Great Engineer points when used to create a Great Farm.

Also, you refer to 'Influence'. Are you speaking of City States?

Does the Great Farm take the Fertillizer and Civil Service improvements? If not, it probably should.

@iamluke21393: geez, dude, you're talking about Iowa, for Christs sake! Have you ever been there? If you feel underwhelmed by this civ, try living there awhile: you'll find this civ is, in fact, a quite generous representation of the experience!

After trying 2 games with this Civ, I've got to say it feels extremely underwhelming and underpowered. Maybe I'm just not playing it right, but normally I can win on emperor and on my second game I'm just breaking even on king difficulty. Might I suggest giving a different UA, UU, or UB? The three that are given kind of feel like they're all basically the same thing.

Maybe I'm just not playing it properly...

Great to see Norman Borlaug honoured. There's not many people in history who can rightly be called "the man who saved a billion lives" thanks to his agricultural innovations.

Look forward to playing this! As an Iowan can I suggest maybe changing the leader to Ansel Adams and giving a bonus to education or coal?
