For the dice, you don't need to leave the black lines from the template in the texture, you can just cover those up.

Was just introduced to this game a few days ago and I've had a lot of fun with it! The creator is very receptive to questions and suggestions. I plan on introducing the game to my friends in the near future.

Tyrant you where correct about the fact it was a porting problem.

the script related error*
Zdenek  [author] 20 Feb, 2019 @ 4:03pm
I will fix the items tomorrow, thanks. The script related to the player token, Mellester (my scripter) says it is ok.
Zdenek  [author] 18 Feb, 2019 @ 12:19pm
hmmmm, thanks.

A really great take on a very scarce genre of tabletop games, community is great and despite lots of mechanics, its easy to learn hard to master. a solid addition to any tabletop gaming night
peters.rian23 15 Nov, 2018 @ 2:42pm
I love playing this game and it has a very welcoming community to support it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new game to play.
Blaire_Witch 15 Nov, 2018 @ 12:58pm
KoD is a the best "Take That" game I think I've ever played. Supporting so many styles of play from an aggressive "kill everyone" to just completing quests. I can honestly say Kingdoms of Deceit is a game that has a bright future ahead of it, and anyone who hasn't tried it should get a hold of Zdenek and do so right now
Zdenek  [author] 15 Nov, 2018 @ 12:48pm
Tyrant, I am adding you on steam, I need you to explain to me exactly what happened. I have by the way changed things around - this is where players will be able to get the base game from and if they want the exampded game, they will have to add me as a friend and ask me for it.
Tyrant 15 Nov, 2018 @ 12:45pm
Today's update introduced two broken assets that will NOT trigger an error in-game because Imgur uses an 'image is removed' placeholder instead of a proper 404.

there are very few games like kingdoms of deceit, each player can have their own gameplan vastly different from their opponents. While the end goal is the same, there are many ways to collect and use your resources, and if that doesnt appeal to you, you can always focus on catching others in their lies, after all, this is Kingdoms of Deceit.

Looks complicated, but rules are simple. Nice game for many hours :D
Doesn't feel boring after playing multilpe runs
Hg80 27 Oct, 2018 @ 4:25pm
To new players who are intimidated: It may look complicated, and to an extent it is, but if you've got someone to teach the rules it really isn't that difficult to learn by playing.
TypicalMito 27 Oct, 2018 @ 10:55am
pretty fun and interesting game once you figure out how it works
Med!c 4 Jun, 2018 @ 12:25pm
Fun game, bit of a learning curve. Worthwhile if you have someone teaching you the game and explaining their actions with "im doing this action from this card:" and "im hoping to achieve x,y,z results from it" to help learn quicker. Love the concept tho, really fun game.
Blackdeath 7 Feb, 2018 @ 4:40pm
Accepted and thanks for fixing that. I need to get my ass in gear and update mine this weekend.
Zdenek  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 4:33pm
Would you mind accepting my friend request on Steam?
Zdenek  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 4:27pm
fixed
Blackdeath 7 Feb, 2018 @ 3:47pm
True, but I appreciate it.
Zdenek  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 3:45pm
OK, I will fix it. But it is just a quick description about what the game is about so you don't really need it.
Blackdeath 7 Feb, 2018 @ 2:56pm

So its the first large item next to the picture of the persons playing.
Zdenek  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 1:21pm
BTW I added you so we can discuss it on steam if you want Blackdeath.
Zdenek  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 10:41am
That shouldn't be happening. Where on the table is that file? Next to what?
Blackdeath 6 Feb, 2018 @ 3:41pm
I am having an issue with a missing file - http://i.imgur.com/jcdKjJn.jpg

Really fun game to play in a group, takes a bit of learning but when you learn the ropes it is incredibly fun and addictive. The game is also being consistently worked on so it is more balanced/fun. Overall a great experience. 10/10

Great game v.intense at times best game to make your friends hate you :)
Madrigal 18 Dec, 2017 @ 3:49pm
Great game, it's a lot like coup but not as linear and offers way more play styles to the point that I find myself doing something new every game.
Zdenek  [author] 10 Aug, 2017 @ 6:44am
After almost 2-month break from developing KOD, I am back with fresh ideas. I have removed two characters (Librarian, Battlemage) and added a new one (Peasant). Let me know if you want to play. Here, on Discord or in Kingdoms of Deceit Facebook group.
Killnrap2 6 Jun, 2017 @ 11:20am
I am still new to Kingdoms of Deceit however once you understand the rules its very easy to play . I recommend you give the game a go no 2 games are ever alike
nettleflap 24 May, 2017 @ 3:43pm
For a bluffing game there are too many options and strategies to take and there doesn't seem to be any meaningless action you could take. It takes a little bit of learning and sessions may go around 1.5 - 2 hours but once you learn basics the game opens up to huge variety of possibilities. Very well done honestly. I'd advice every hardcore boardgame player to try.
Lord Ferule 1 May, 2017 @ 3:32pm
Great game, Bluff your way to win the game... Seduce your opponents or Kill them. All depends on the characters you have and the ability to bluff when you don't... 10/10

The unwrapping is the most satisfying thing ever. I hope more people make use of Assetbundles. :)
incS| Slormancer 22 Apr, 2017 @ 5:01pm
Best game ever created just take the time too learn this adictive game its the best.
Lord 1 Mar, 2017 @ 6:55pm
1-2 hours it depends with who you play trust me.
its a verry fun game has a nice concept and you will learn the basics of the game pretty fast
for my rating a 10/10
Serena 19 Feb, 2017 @ 2:19pm
Feels like fantasy adventure/intrigue type game, mechanically the core is like Coup, but there are tons of mechanics and sub-mechanics piled on.

This is not really a game for people who are new to games, but if you like Coup and fantasy-adventure intrigue games, it seems quite fun.

I have no idea about balance whatsover with this game so far, and don't expect to for at least another couple dozen games.
Renzy2 8 Feb, 2017 @ 4:03am
Played the game a few times recently, the first time with Zdenek himself. I really do recommend giving it a try, though it can be a bit intimidating at first. You never know quite how it will end either, and I enjoy the crazy ways people can screw each other over haha. But its all in good fun.

Although, I definitely think some of the quests need to be re-balanced. Some very hard quests only reward 1-2 XP. And there are things that have been removed or rewritten that need to get touched up a bit. But for a beta, its damn impressive.
Noelle 5 Feb, 2017 @ 3:57pm
Just played it for the first time today and I had a blast, hell I even ended up winning somehow. It's definitely a bit confusing at first glance (and for most the second, third, and fourth), but if you have a couple of more experienced players around it begins to click fairly quickly. It still has room to improve, but if this is just the imperfect beta phase then I for one can't wait to see what it will become given more time.
stndfox0 1 Feb, 2017 @ 2:39pm
Very fun. First in depth "deceit" game I've played and I enjoyed it. You really start to understand the way the deceit part works after handling some of the characters. A lot of mechanics to learn, but the rules are pretty well written and the community tends to be friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to playing again. :)
Rune 28 Jan, 2017 @ 6:43am
Brilliant game! Tough to learn (i think Zdenek is fixing that with a new help-sheet! :D) but once you get the basics, its a very fun game! :csgoa:
Dachi 27 Jan, 2017 @ 11:00am
Love the complexity and the variability when it comes to how you want to play and win the game. Add the intrigue of La Mame Games' Coup: The Resistance and a welcoming community with kind devs and you've got a very promising game. Definitely a recommendation!
Kneebro 27 Jan, 2017 @ 10:51am
Very interesting game to play, may be a little overwhelming at first but does become fun afterwards :)
Qu1nter 14 Jan, 2017 @ 6:19pm
This is a great game with an experienced group of players! Very fun and so much deep strategy involved. It will take a few times until you get to a point where you can begin to win. Im still learning new ways to play, and combinations to use. Give it a shot you wont be disappointed!
neicul 18 Dec, 2016 @ 5:03pm
nice game
