I've played two games with this mod and both times the wonder has not appeared on the tech tree or anywhere in the game

Another wonder from Seville :D

It hasn't been updated for BNW yet, so the trade route code is causing it to stop working. You can fix this by adding "CityConnection" in front of the "TradeRouteModifier" tags

This mod stopped working. While the mod is running, and no one else has built it according to the diplomacy screen, the wonder does not appear in the list of buildable wonders in any of my coastal cities.
It did work in a previous game. What's going on?

Hrm. You've definately activated it? If so, I'll need to check it, but it'll be about a month before I can do so

For some reason this mod doesn't work for me. I subscribed to it and I have Gods and Kings. When I set up a game with the mod on (no other mods are present), the Civilopedia entry is not there and the icon is not on the tech tree. Help please?

After Wat Arun it's actually next on my list of wonders to update

Nice! Might want to consider Sagrada Familia next.

Ah, didn't see the second clause.
Pouakai  [author] 15 Jul, 2012 @ 11:27am
You need to be a coastal city and be on a river

I was not able to build this on all my coastal cities. Not sure why, but I figured it deserved a mention.

Considering when you receive this, I say this is not too powerful. The free harbor is just a gimme (but appreciable). +20% gold from trade routes compares to Machu Picchu, except since this is WAY later into the game and more expensive to build, you recieve a free merchant too (the weakest specialist by far).

I'd actually take Machu Picchu's extra 5% trade route gold and static +5 gold over Torre Del Oro's extra culture and free merchant, especially after considering the availability of both. It's essentially on par with Machu Picchu but it's later in the game and 325 more production to build.

The effect is cool; keep it. I'd just suggest a little bit more to the static bonuses. Maybe +5 static gold like all the other gold wonders (Big ben, Picchu, Colossus)?

Sweet, I'll do that in the next update

that could work remove the harbour and say +3-6 to city defense wouldnt be too bad

@Pouakai, I appreciate your historical background for all of your wonders. Adds well to the immersion factor. I tend to agree with yrrebnot's assessments for Torre Del Oro, but will use this regardless.

What if I removed the free harbour?
Tonberry 15 Jun, 2012 @ 2:36pm
maybe add a small defense bonus instead of the merchant. Would keep with the theme and wouldnt be quite as powerful
Pouakai  [author] 15 Jun, 2012 @ 2:16pm
It does have the limitations of requiring both a coast and a river to build
Tonberry 15 Jun, 2012 @ 2:15pm
This is way too powerful possibly remove the free merchant..
