this need a update, a lot of bugs and can use it on forbiden areas when default do no work, maybe a .ini option settings

@Icebreccer is there a known bug where you would get off a dino and be grappled ? sometimes when i get of dinos i get grappled into the sky or it just random grapples me thru the map

This combined with infinite parachute mod adds a rlly fun way of traveling

On Windows: Go to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods). Then click on the mod you're looking for (The mod ID is at the end of the web address at the top of the page on steam, at least the one you're looking at currently). Type in Search "EngramEntry". There ya' go! Just remember to add "_C" at the end of each entry if it doesn't have it and you're golden!

How do you change the colors of the flare?

idk how and why... but when i set my grapling flare gun at shortcut then exit my game... but when i load again i can't use them... icon still remain at shortcut but i can't equip it and can't drop or put back to inventory... same with mod multitool, grapling flare gun, supertek weapons

if it is just a server thing i will post that back but i have never seen this happen an it show the rope when you glitch all over the map real game breaker when people die like that all gear is gone

hi people are have serious player glitchs being flung through the map and killed if close to lava and it shows the g hook rope it stops with C but this is a really bad bug it starts after you enter a cave then keeps happening

May not be a popular opinion, but Im gonna throw out a request to give the thing some weight XD

Its infinite flares and grapples, I dont think having a little weight would be a bad trade off! 0.2 for what you are getting is nuts!

@Pickle Rick: You are correct. It seems changing the projectile from the vanilla fixes the Grappling Hook on Aberration. Uploading an update shortly.

Hope you can update this one, love this mod :)

Btw, the grapple hook in the utilities+ mod is working on pretty much everything in Aberration. Maybe take a peek? :D

@Alexander: You are right it doesn't work on structures either, it does work on dinos and dino platforms though.

Also I can't do anything about it until I get my hands on the new devkit with the DLC stuff include (even then it's hard to say as the Grappling Hooks aren't exposed that much in the kit). There is not much I can do before that sadly ;_; We could always try to bug the devs on reddit/twitter/forums to add a server config option to allow Grappling Hooks on Aberration.

@Judqment8, I tried to stick to an S + Large Wall (Structures Plus (S +)) from my house on the server but it has not worked, I could never do it. Maybe you can make the Grappling Hook get its full functionality in this new dlc Aberration or will it not be possible to get it together at least in this dlc ?. Any ideas?. I am a fan of this mod.

That's an issue with all Grappling Hooks on Aberration. They seem to have disabled its functionality on Aberration surfaces. You can still hook dinos and structures AFAIK.

Yep @FurryMutt30, the Sky Flare and Ground Flare works fine, but the Grappling Hook not work in the new dlc Aberration. Maybe this mod need an update for compatibility with the new dlc. Waiting for update :(

noticed might be a bug with this mod though it might be with all grapple types including the vanilla version if you fire multiple times during a lag spike say from a server save your character will be bugged think this is what LuvDCups meant by the ghost grapple your character will randomly get pulled to the landing point of the first grapple you shot during the lag spike regardless of your position on the map this will keep randomly triggering until you respawn either via using a bed or commiting suicide also noticed its a purely visual bug on the client other players wont see you getting pulled about and it cant harm you
