welp, i erroneously used this mod instead of Masteries (hadnt played in forever) and this completley ruined my chars; after getting the bounce mod error, i then loaded up the correct mod (masteries) for the character and went into game, and character was wrecked - all skill points gone, and characters with high levels having only 4 or 6 points (ruined 2 chars!)


sigh. not the end of the world but still sucks. beware of loading the wrong mods with your chars!

Use another dye. The character just saves the last texture assigned to it no matter which mode you play.

I have this problem where when I used it and changed my skin color, the original character texture would have the arachnos skin textures instead of human. Is there a fix to this? I can't seem to get rid of it.

Say I had a mod years back I made with the Arachne Model as female version of this mod. I got most of the animations to work (except a constant idle animation I needed to fix), and some of the armors fit but I never got it off the ground. Now that's it's considered old by the updated game's version, I'm redoing it from the ground up.

I would ask if you could integrate the Arachne Queen model into your mod for the female side or if you could take mine and see if you could do it like this mod as an alternative female model version; at least more appropriately than I did. I'm not too good at rigging the meshes for armor to make them fit the model so I leave it alone, but I think it can be done.

awesome mod thanks a bunch. huge fan of spiders so when i saw this i was like YES! lol pretty cool that TQ has mods etc now. hope to see more people making interesting things. i mean i am happy it got like "remastered" that alone gave me a reason to go back to playing it and beating it again, but these mods are like a WHOLE NEW reason to replay the game again and again lol so thanks and keep modding

oh yea..the tigerman...ive played that one too..but i think i know what you mean..their models are not animated or something, like you said. That did not really bother me much back in the day, and i don't think it still bothers me. Im guessing yours has animations and such?

There have been a lot of mods kinda like this because the first step (just replace the player's model) is very simple.
However it takes more to make non-human shapes play properly, so frankly most of them are not very good. Or rather not finished.

Tamschi's playable tigermen being the one exception that comes to mind.

no..the hydra one..there is a hydra one made..one from a modder, posted long time ago at official titan quest forums..problem is i think it is hard to find. it is the boss not the gorgons..
