@Recon Did you manage to reshade the tree shadows they are too dark it seems

@isr I fixed it for my league, I'm actually in the process of reshading and fixing some lighting, I plan to release it ~Dec , 2022. If you want something before then load the track up in dev mode and set the cut track limit on the chicane.

Hello dear community. We wanted to use this track for our upcoming gt3 championship but it seems that there is a problem with the new rf2 anti cut system. Almost every time it shows track limit calculation in first chicane(no matter what layout) and often gives you a cut track warning without no reason. Would be nice if this can be fixed...Thank you.

Quality work. People complaining about shadows need to upgrade their shitty equipment. This is a good track mod.

サブスクライブしたところ、インストールで不具合が出てゲームが起動しなくなるトラブルが発生、その場合、管理⇒サブスクライブ でRaceRfactor Monza 2014のチェックを外して、サブスクライブを解除する事で治りました。:steamfacepalm:

At the exit of the pits, there are lights to access the track (red or green). Unfortunately, the lights are white circled with inconspicuous red or also inconspicuous green. Why not make an entirely red or green light to be perfectly visible? Thank you

I have this problem with f3 cars where going off the curb is like hitting a block, and the car does a frontflip. anyone knows why or how to solve?

shadows in sunlight are way to dark, almost impossible to see turns. and the flares on green lights too much. Else great conversion.

I personally like your version from ISR (This subscription version is to pale or bright in my opinion)t... so I downloaded that one. People complained about the shadows ( and so I think you modified it which is cool especially if people complain)but I think the tree , build board and other shadows gave it more life .This was an incredible focus to detail. So I looked and found the original version on ISR. Keep it up!!!

BBR Alek, that bump is real. I have a silly workaround for the darkness: i crank up brightness by like 5% in gpu settings. works like a charme.

@McNolo Fantastic track, but the tree shadow are way too dark, currently braking to Variante della Roggia (2nd chicane) we cannot see anything. It seems that the problem is the Image Based Lighting system that has been implemented a fiew years ago. Is it correct? Gotta race without shadow....

There is a bug on the cut detector in this track. In the first chicane if you touch the left curb the lap is invalidated. Any chance to have a fix?

i am trying to add this track to a (classic) championship, along with silverstone, monaco, zanvoort etc.. i added the mod to my collection (using STEAM) but I dont see the MONZA track when I build my package... Is it under another name? anyone has an idea why I dont see it? (i see all the others tracks in the track selector, but not the Monza track)... thanks

I confirm that @Intimidator was right (thanks), there is an error with the internal and external routes. Formerly they had another name (inside and outside) and for that reason the error exists. I'm working to solve it, in addition to updating the track with the new lighting system and add puddle map. Thanks.

Please don't get me wrong, but it seems to be an issue with this particular track. Because all the other ones work fine. And I really love this one. Racing is fantastic on your track. It might be something with the left an right path of the AIW!?

Yes, agreed there should be shadows. But unfortunatley these are not like real shadows. It is basically just a black blob on the track. I dearly hope that this fantastic version can be updated to dx11 standards, which includes the "new" Images Based Lighting. This is not meant to be a criticism, merely constructive.

Dear racers and McNolo. If you had ever driven on Monza on a sunny day at very high speed, then you would have seen exactly this shadow and even more flickering from the sun trough the trees. I salute you McNolo, this is an actual representation. Monza should be about headache from the light flickering and backpain from the shaking on the Curva Del Serraglio

Thank you for reply. Yes I have experimented with shadow setting. Looks slightly "wrong" with no shadows; damned if you do , damned if you don't. Still it is an option.

This is a problem with the game, not with the track. In the last update build it are included the new Image Based Lighting system that will improve the enviroment lighting, but at this moment we don't have enought info about it. When Studio-397 publish more info for modders about this improve, we will try to apply to the track. Meantime, you can switch off the shadows if you want.

It is a shame that this track has so much shadow that you can barely see corners. I have removed this track and now use an inferior version so I can at least view thw track clearly.
