This allow you to eat any ingredient and learn it's effect (I use it myself when not using the book.)

This is a less useful BUT masterfully beautiful ingredients book (just shows ingredients but not also grouped by effect, when author does I will use that mod exclusively (a BEAUTIFUL job on that book <I am too lazy to create such a masterpiece> )

Love this mod and the left hand rings mod. But is there a console command that you know of, that teaches you all the ingredient effects. I know the one that allows you to eat the ingredients and learn their effects. Thanks in advance.
Mr. Shaggnificent 19 Jan, 2014 @ 8:30pm
i think a 'beginer's guide' version that only has the first effect(for the not so lazy) would be cool too. just a thought.
Arrow Albert 13 Jul, 2013 @ 7:09pm
cool, just wanted to be sure
jconsort  [author] 13 Jul, 2013 @ 7:08pm
No they are just books, they require NO MODS or NO EXPANSIONS...the bas game book is "Laziest vanilla Alchemist"
Arrow Albert 13 Jul, 2013 @ 12:33pm
What if you only want the book but not the fishing mods? (does this mod add or require the fishing mods?)
getcandy 3 Mar, 2013 @ 2:15pm
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.
jconsort  [author] 7 Feb, 2013 @ 12:41pm
The book requires NO add ons whatsoever, its just a plain book , a text file in a book. This requires no expansions at all..:) Just ignore the ingredients for the expansions you do not have.
FurryGuyJeans 6 Feb, 2013 @ 11:53pm
Since you added DB ingredients does this mod now require DB?
jconsort  [author] 6 Feb, 2013 @ 8:53pm
Now with Dragonborn ingredients, also all general merchants sometimes have the books, but belethor always sells it.
jconsort  [author] 1 Feb, 2013 @ 1:21pm
Been gone a while, book is still found in Riverwood trainer but can also now be bought from Belthor in Whiterun
jconsort  [author] 29 Nov, 2012 @ 8:36am
large book, lots of text, takes a while to load if you video card is low end...otherwise no clue..no problems I have heard otherwise, you are the first...try loading the mod last ..i also run high with the HD pack and there are no problems...use the vanilla book and do not open the fishing mod book

For some reason when I read the books it causes my game to lag really bad(no clue why) and I run on high setting. Any idea why it does this or how to fix it on my end?
jconsort  [author] 25 Nov, 2012 @ 9:49am
not really feasible, the ingredients show up many many places..sorry..:(
theweakminded 24 Nov, 2012 @ 2:19pm
Possiblt to make a book with ingredient locations and no effects?
jconsort  [author] 22 Oct, 2012 @ 12:25pm
@AmaD The fishing mods allow you to use a thrown net, fishing pole, etc...the fish have alchemy ingredients (mostly) and some cooking. Laziest Alchemist Alive deals with all base game ingredients plus these fish. "Laziest Vanilla alch." is just base ingredients. Both list by ingredients and than by effects grouped together.
Atom.Little 18 Oct, 2012 @ 1:14pm
Ah, this is just what I've been looking for. Subscribing right away and looking forward to the result. Will make sure to come back and rate.

Question: What do the fixing mods have that wasn't part of the alchemy ingredients list? I've found plenty of stuff n lakes and rivers, some of which is used in alchemy recipes, but other than that I'm not sure what kind of ingredients would not fit in with alchemy or where it would fit in - cooking, perhaps?
jconsort  [author] 16 Oct, 2012 @ 3:14pm
"laziest alchemist alive" all inrgedients with the fishing mods, Laziest vanilla Alch. is just the base ingredients only , take those if you do not use the mods
DEATHLORD58 15 Oct, 2012 @ 9:08pm
k so which 1 should i have got ??? the 1 i have seems like the right 1 as it has all the same ingrdeance (sp)
jconsort  [author] 15 Oct, 2012 @ 2:48pm
Correct. there is more than 1 (some to carry, some to leave in player houses etc) Two types (laziest alchemist alive has fishing mod info, laziest vanilla alch. has only Bethesda ingredients in it)
DEATHLORD58 15 Oct, 2012 @ 1:06pm
When i went upstairs to get the book for some reason their were 4 books, 3 on the floor and 1 on the bed. all the same book.
jconsort  [author] 7 Oct, 2012 @ 2:00pm
Now with the hearthfire ingredients also. Still compatible with everything (just books dropped in 2 locations)
jconsort  [author] 6 Oct, 2012 @ 1:32pm
Now with a vanilla ingredients only version for those who dont use extra ingredient mods.

perfect! now i don't feel like a dork using notes on another screen! Now my player can read his own book and be the dork.... Thanks, it is a nightmare after starting over with new player/mods and fighting potions. Thank You
charleneconlon 21 Jun, 2012 @ 11:28pm
Found it--never mind.
charleneconlon 21 Jun, 2012 @ 7:13pm
I went to the trader's, looked around on both levels of their house, and couldn't find it. Where should I be looking?
Kat 15 Jun, 2012 @ 12:46pm
Oh that's good then, ty for letting us know! My current characters are ''good' so wouldn't steal!
jconsort  [author] 15 Jun, 2012 @ 10:38am
I do not know how to make the book purchasable yet, sorry..:( BUT after the "Golden Claw" quest the book is no longer tagged as stolen, the merchant does not mind you taking it. Thinking of breaking this into 2 volumes or perhaps reversing the pages, first the general effects, than the specific ingredients
Kat 15 Jun, 2012 @ 1:36am
This is great! For some reason since the latest patch I now get a double cursor on screen if I Alt&Tab to my web browser to look up ingredients. Now I can look them up in game! It would be wonderful if the book could perhaps be purchaseable too? Perhaps from one of the more out-the-way alchemy or trader merchants (there are a ridiculous number of mods for RW!)
ScratchNip 14 Jun, 2012 @ 12:22am
that is very helpful, always hated going back and forth between alchemists and never getting new thing D:
jconsort  [author] 7 Jun, 2012 @ 7:36pm
Description edited and thanks for feedback.
Element Leader 1 7 Jun, 2012 @ 3:51pm
Yes, very good idea... as stated, where is it in game?
