It looks very nice, can i change the file somehow myself so that it updates to the plasma tier with the regular plasma rifle update? I already have plasma weapons and i'm low on supplies.

I ran into an issue where the Mattock is classified as a Heavy/Gunner weapon (like the Cannon) instead of being an Assault Rifle. That wasn't intended, was it?

Tbh I dont think I will at this point. With new DLC announced, any changes now would require alteration again later for any LW2 DLC updates.

Thats a lot of faffing around. I will take a look after the DLC is released to try and ensure compatability with the new content. LW2 updates will have to wait till after that point.

Is it possible that we could get a pistol mod? I've got an almost full team of great looking mass effect characters with their respective guns, but the one thing I'm missing are the pistols. Even if it's just one. I don't mean to nag, and I'm really grateful for what we've got. I'd give this mod a paragon endorsement, but the pistols would make it a full set. Cheers for these mods.

Appreciate that you took the time to do all of this. I am however wondering if it is possible to put silencers, scopes etc on your ME weapons using Xskin? I've tried some of your standalone ME weapons, but adding scopes etc, I didn't see any changes for the 3D models.Anyway, thanks for a cool mod!

@Dragonlord You can use all my Mass Effect weapons as skin replacers using X-skin. Please ensure that you have the X-skin enabler mod to active skins for the ME guns. You can find it in my collection link above.

okay played abit more, looks and sounds amazing. restricted to Gunners only though, with that in mind i do have 2 things i'd suggest.

1. Damage out - its lags behinf the other HW. tier1 its the same 4-6 damage. tier2 its 6=8 compared to the mag cannons 6-11. tier3 8=10 compared to beam cannon 10-16.
personally wouldn't mind, but as i can only use on a gunner its effectively replacing the HW, as the tiers go up im losing out slightly.

2. Ammo - its limited to 3, fine as a rifle etc... but again as restricted to gunner and replacing HW... i can't even use alot of the heavy hitting ammo use abilities. hail of bullets for instance cost 5 ammo. :P

you have made my day! putting as a gunner is also perfect for me, as aside fromt he coil gauss cannon, im not a fan of the other heavy weapon models. now im sorted with a sleek Mattock.

yeah when i cannon training i assumed gunner. for some reason still greyed out on my current play through. dunno why.


however started a new campaign, cheated with kill all command, got my gunner promtion and there it is!!!! :P

does it level up with the other weapon tiers?

IIRC Pavonis changed the class skills, so you need to actually have a soldier in the class with the perk for using heavy/cannon weapons

okay added and booted up a save-game. its pretty advanced, all plasma weapons research etc, so dunno if conflict.

its in game in the weapons loadout. except no one can equip it. the M96 Mattock is greyed out and ` cannont equip` plastered across it. thats for all classes, tried them all except Sparks.

gonna start a new campaign, will keep updated.

Im attempting to resolve an issue with LW2 on Avenger and Widow. If the fix works ill correct this and the other weapons to solve the problem. If it doesnt, it may take some time.

Upgrades are the same as vanilla weapons. Just research the weapon tech and they will appear as an upgrade option.

Grimmys integration need fixed as its currently bugged due to me making an error. Its a simple fix, and one I will be doing soon for all weapons.

Yes I get the point, as I did the first time. The answer is still the same;

You can set the prices in the research INI file. This is what configures is costs to purchase.

yes my fault! i meant t2. after the first research u got the M96 for free, without to pay any ressources. for all other guns (standard etc) you need ressources to get the upgrade...that's why i meant it's a bit IMBA

xxxShakal78xxx: Small correction there: T1 is the very first tier of weapons you have available, the base ones. T2 are the first you need to research. At least from the definitions I'm used to and usually see here on the workshop.
