I'll let you know if they work when I test it. Been waiting 2 weeks. Not sure why I have to wait a month before I can even play.

@Faceta: Sorry, but if u are looking for a plethora of amateur items or unbalanced features to be added, u need to look elsewhere. It already adds some lore-friendly places, quite a few well-crafted quests, some decent weapon variety, diverse weathers, particle effects and UI enhancements. Please specify what else is needed to not qualify as 'nothing'. This collection's motto is to enhance what is already there, not add half-arsed stuff. "I have tried to preserve the vanilla feel of the game (the masterpiece that it is) as much as possible, ironed out most of the annoying bugs and enhanced certain aspects which were not-so-polished, resulting in an overall CHALLENGING and IMMERSIVE experience without being hardcore or lore-breaking."-excerpt from description. I feel I have done a good all-round job assembling this collection, though there is always room for improvement: so constructive criticism is whole-heartedly welcomed.
Thank u for taking the time to criticize. Visit again...

this collection adds almost nothing to the game. the graphics are already pretty decent and not much else is gained except for the cool weapons.

Got it. thx

Pick the appropriate versions of Lainter Dale and Oakwood according to if you have Hearthfire or not. Also try Unofficial Hearthfire Patch and load it just after Unofficial Skyrim Patch.
João Costa 7 Feb, 2013 @ 5:03pm
I can't go in Breezehome
Pevey 12 Nov, 2012 @ 7:09pm
Wow, awesome list. Thanks for including my mod.
2kVideo 10 Sep, 2012 @ 1:08am
It's really simplified to the most needed mods, and that is really awesome, great job and good luck in everything you seek !!!

It is Project Reality: Climates of Tamriel- Lite version. If you dont want the dark nights, u can use the vanilla(brighter)nights version at the nexus. Or u can use torches for realistic lighting with this...ur choice! I've already included Milky way galaxy and lanterns of skyrim to light up the night. Or u can unsub from CoT if u really hate it, go for Skyrim Visuals: Outdoors and SV: Indoors in this order to replace CoT. Hope this helps!
Kneemon 20 Jul, 2012 @ 9:46am
Which of these mods is causing it to be so dark at night in the cities?
Bajiko 20 Jul, 2012 @ 5:03am
I was just noticing that, actually, as I was setting the mods to load in the correct order.

And yes, I will absolutely tell anyone looking for a good Skyrim collection about this.
76561198060875333  [author] 20 Jul, 2012 @ 5:01am
Thanks! Spread the good news about the awesome work of the talented modders on my behalf, will you?
Bajiko 20 Jul, 2012 @ 4:57am
Sweet! You're awesome, man.
Bajiko 20 Jul, 2012 @ 4:47am
Should everything still work properly if I use all the mods from 4.0, and just add the new ones on top of that?

Because 4.0 worked well for me, and I would like to keep even the more resource-demanding mods. Thanks for being so helpful, and for creating this awesome collection!
76561198060875333  [author] 19 Jul, 2012 @ 8:19pm
If u deleted all the previous mods, u will have to start a new character. If u only deleted the mods that no longer feature in this collection, u can continue safely. Most importantly, if u did not disable/uninstall RNG Guards, most probably u can continue ur character. If u deleted/disabled it, sorry dude. Start afresh!
Bajiko 19 Jul, 2012 @ 4:55pm
I just deleted all of the previous mods from this collection, so I could update to the most recent version, which contained a fewer number of mods. Will I have to create a new character for the changes to take place, or can I continue the one I was using before?
Chill Bro Baggins 19 Jul, 2012 @ 6:37am
@anandamaypax Thank you so much! This is a really great collection on mods and you should recieve a medal for putting so much time into this.
76561198060875333  [author] 19 Jul, 2012 @ 3:14am
See notes above. If u are going to activate moonpath to elsweyr, disable quest: sea of ghosts, lanterns of skyrim as these are not compatible. However, since moonpath is very taxing, u are recommended to disable all quest mods and other performance-affecting mods( see IMPORTANT AND MANDATORY section above for the list). Thank u for visiting this page. RATE it and FAVE it.
Сидорович 19 Jul, 2012 @ 3:01am
Love the collection, a am a big fan of content mods such as (Npc, Facions, etc.) is this collection at all compatiable with MoonPath to Elsweyr?
76561198060875333  [author] 18 Jul, 2012 @ 10:59pm
@Thane K., Thanks. Your comments are really appreciated.
@operationschoolgirl, there is no formal thumb rule or anything. But I have sorted out a method of sorts. Place weapon and armor mods just after DragonBone Weapons Complete and before Bandoliers-Bags and Pouches. Nothing so very strict but I like going about doing things methodically. Thank u for visiting this page. Best of luck!
zer0thwitch 18 Jul, 2012 @ 10:48pm
@anandamaypax, no problem, I'm happy I could contribute a bit to this trully awesome collection. Don't worry because you did not reply immediately, we are humans we cannot do everything. I'm happy you did manage to reply within 24 hours ^^. Thanks a lot for the plugins.txt info, it really helped me and saved me a lot of time, it will also be usefull for the future too for sorting out mods and adding new ones. You have put your heart into this collection and it shows, keep sustaining it and doing such a good work! I hope you get better and the illness doesn't stay for too long. Cheers ^^
Chill Bro Baggins 18 Jul, 2012 @ 10:41pm
Hi I am very new to this so sorry if this has been answered before but if you want to add special weapon and armor mods in the future is there a certain place in the load order that they should go? And in general are there load order rules of thumb for things like that such as adding areas, weapons, actions etc. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
76561198060875333  [author] 18 Jul, 2012 @ 9:23pm
@Deda_fr, your crashes are due to the small amount of memory TESV assigns foe .esp files. Disabling the 9 mods should fix it, as you've seeen yourself. Especially turn off the 5 mods that are performance affecting at all times (i.e. there is nothing mentioned in brackets as only in such-and-such conditions, etc.).
76561198060875333  [author] 18 Jul, 2012 @ 9:20pm
@Thane K., thank you for helping the others. You are right, the Sounds of Skyrim plugins randomly cause sudden incompatibilities with other mods, though they are supposed to work perfectly together. If anyone has a CTD or not loading problem, try disabling them and most probably it will be fixed. You will find in the comments section that I've already advised this.
Also, sorry for the late reply. I was very ill and could not attend to my collection. Thank you for excusing me.
zer0thwitch 18 Jul, 2012 @ 7:12pm
It seems that its not a problem with the combination of the mods, but an issue with the Sounds of Skyrim mods itself. Check this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/discussion/882954456887188382/?appid=72850
They are working on it, which means that it will soon be fixed. Someone should really upload the correct plugins.txt file, cause I did something stupid and the load order now is alphabetically T_T . Aaand I'm too bored to correct it from the beginning :/
Glad I could help ^^
Deda 18 Jul, 2012 @ 12:12pm
Ok, no more CDT after maybe 1 hour. (I had one by 10 mins lastly). But my game crash when I enter a building. Now I have disabled "Real Wildlife" & I can again enter in a building.
Deda 18 Jul, 2012 @ 11:27am
I'm experiencing crashes (CDT) too. I disabled the 9 "perfomance-hungry" mods & it seems to work again.
I'll re-actiate all the mods except the two "Sounds of Skyrim" et tell ya' what's happening :)
Thane K has an amazing idea about the .txt file for load order :D
Ty very much for this amazing collection btw !
Jim 18 Jul, 2012 @ 5:20am
You're right Thane K, Sounds of Skyrim mods are what is causing my problems as well.
zer0thwitch 18 Jul, 2012 @ 12:08am
Oh and something else, it would REALLY help if you could provide the plugins.txt file from C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt It has the order of the mods. If you did that someone could just download it and replace his own file so that the order is automaticaly set to the right one.
zer0thwitch 17 Jul, 2012 @ 11:59pm
The game always shut down after I loaded a clean save file. It took me about 1 hour to find which mods caused it. The 2 Sounds of Skyrim mods are the problem. For some unknown reason they do not work with the other mods. I did everything as instructed (load order 'n stuff) and there is no way its a ram problem (cause I am using an alienware x51 with 8gb ram).
76561198060875333  [author] 17 Jul, 2012 @ 8:10pm
@Metrin, remove Feared Dragons and the rest of this collection will be compatible with those mods, though Dragons Diversified is fairly buggy and breaks the main quest: A Blade in the Dark where Delphine does not notice you killed the named dragon...your choice...
@Xx WvilSinsxX, Thanks a lot!
@Cashmen, 1) Yes, it will work theoretically. But I wont recommend house mods as they can eat up your VRam. Place house mods just after or before [VoidCraft] Breezehome.2) Disable the 9 mods listed above as performance- affecting and you are ready to go. If the solution works for you, DO NOT install house mods. If the problem persists, let me know.
Cashmen 17 Jul, 2012 @ 7:34pm
Ehhhhh one more thing when I load up the save from HELGEN with mods I walk like 50 feet and crashes every time....
Cashmen 17 Jul, 2012 @ 5:23pm
I am hoping you can answer soon... Will this mod work with A. Master of the space-time continuem (I can't spell it xD) and B. and house mods like hunters cabin or Garrett's Retreat?
EvilSins 17 Jul, 2012 @ 4:16pm
Hey awsome collection, i decided to get skyrim on the pc (already own in on xbox) just for the mods and ur collection helped me in choosing alot of good mods that i might have missed :) +1
Blue Roses 17 Jul, 2012 @ 11:09am
is this compatible with the deadly dragons, and diverse dragons mod?
SaRiliZ [92] 17 Jul, 2012 @ 2:25am
I tried disabling the 9 mods and I got it to work, Thank you for the help, much appreciated. Awsome collection by the way.
76561198060875333  [author] 16 Jul, 2012 @ 5:38pm
DO NOT start a new game with the mods active. Read the IMPORTANT AND MANDATORY section above. Create a clean save after Helgen. If the savegame does not load, try disabling the 9 mods listed above as performance-affecting and then load the savegame. If the issue persists, let me know.
SaRiliZ [92] 16 Jul, 2012 @ 11:21am
Hey, Im new here but I did as instructed but every time I try to load a game or start a new one my game shuts it self down. Anyone now how to fix it?
rincewind 16 Jul, 2012 @ 7:15am
Hey update, I disalbed both the sounds of skyrims and everything was working correctly again! Thanks dude!
76561198060875333  [author] 16 Jul, 2012 @ 6:53am
I know these symptoms. Disable both the Sounds of Skyrim mods first and Quest: Sea of Ghosts. If the problem persists, let me know.
rincewind 16 Jul, 2012 @ 6:52am
Nah just these, I also keep getting problems with missing dungeon parts and the inside of Markarth thrall room is missing. I'm gonna have a look through each mod and see whats causing the problems.
76561198060875333  [author] 16 Jul, 2012 @ 6:51am
None of these mods specifically change or affect Riften. So, it may be caused by some other mods that impact Riften or it is a general CTD. If it is reproducible, it must be caused by some other mod. Let me know.
rincewind 16 Jul, 2012 @ 4:58am
Im getting CTD around Riften.
76561198060875333  [author] 15 Jul, 2012 @ 11:32pm
Thanks. Some mods cause weird problems in Helgen, especially the cart ride scene. Also, a clean save is always recommended for all mods everywhere. You know, just for safety. So that u can switch back to the unmodded vanilla if a mod goes rogue or ur system doesnt suit it.
GeneralHappyPie 15 Jul, 2012 @ 11:20pm
Silly Question: Why do we need to play through to outside of Helgen first with a clean save? Shouldn't the mods automatically kick in from the start correctly if you are starting a new game? I'm just curious to the reasoning as I'm looking to start a LP with your Modpack/collection and kicking the mods in after going through all that gameplay feels odd. You're modpack looks awesome. I just (finally) beat the main quest of the game and it feels right to bring this modpack in while I start anew

@Everyone, Thanks! This collection now has a 5-Star rating and features in the Top Ten Highest Rated Skyrim Mod Collections of All Time in the Steam Workshop!
SubOptml 15 Jul, 2012 @ 7:29pm
My first play through of Skyrim was completely vanilla, and I haven't touched the game since March. I loaded the mod collection you assembled and am completely enthralled with Skyrim again. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together.
niemiec1982 15 Jul, 2012 @ 2:19pm
Thanks.
PJExperiment 15 Jul, 2012 @ 11:28am
I can't believe how blown away I am with the mods and modders of this collection, thank you guys so much, I'm having a blast.
