Everything seems to work fine (except fractional numbers in gold output), but texts are broken (got txt_... in all places where explanations of this mods effects it has to be.

Also got a concern, that there will be to much gold income.

My Name Is Not Quaid 16 Jul, 2016 @ 9:07am
Thanks for this. Just reinstalled CivV after a year or so and forgot how much this mod helps gameplay. Cheers.

Is this compatible with R.E.D. WWII mod?
Foxxedhound 15 May, 2015 @ 1:29pm
Nice, now I can trade with City States by road more effiecientlly. It is actually worth something. :)

THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE BNW'S TRADE ROUTE SYSTEM CARAVANS/CARGOS

BUT THIS MOD, ADDS ANOTHER TRADE ROUTE USING ROADS BY CONNECTING YOUR CITY TO FOREIGN CITY OR BY HAVING OPEN BORDERS WITH THEM.

It will NOT fill the available trading routes, the one on the top left.
TurboTokkie 15 Feb, 2015 @ 1:14am
Is this automatically, and can you have a caravan do this while the foreign trade route is active or does it replace the caravan so you use the roads more aaaaand does it use a trade route slot or not?
Roellie Safari 3 Feb, 2015 @ 11:57am
i thought that this mod would let you trade recources you get from other players/city states

@That_Raider_Xavier
It's pointless for anyone that has BNW i dont have that and still not World Congress so helpful for all of us..Just a great reason to NEVER delete a mod if a subscriber is using it just my 2cents.
civisterrae 31 Aug, 2014 @ 8:51am
In default game, when you build a road between two cities belonging to you, you make a "trade route" and it provides you with gold each turn. This mod basically enables you to build roads between your cities and other civilizations' cities and earn money from it. IT SHOULDN'T BE CONFUSED WITH CARAVAN/CARGO SHIP TRADE ROUTE SYSTEM OF BNW.
Warwick🐺 23 Aug, 2014 @ 3:51pm
This mod was made before BNW..thats why everone is confuse..before BNW there weren't any "Trade routes' just domestic trade routes, by connecting your city togther.. So this mod basicly gives you money, from trade routes when you connect your city to a forgien city.. But now since caravans/cargo is out for BNW..this mod can be a little pointless..but meh extra gold for connecting yours and forgien cities togther isn't so bad :D
Renelyx 24 Jul, 2014 @ 4:17pm
This Mod only works for BNW, nothing else.
he said, and I quote:
"About the second question, I do not plan any changes to this in the near future, but may work on it again later, as a part of a bigger economic mod."
Bambaryła 15 Jul, 2014 @ 11:56am
I like the idea behind this mod.
But how is it supposed to work? How do I check if this works? :)
skbernard 7 Jul, 2014 @ 4:37pm
i cant seem to get this working, played up through just before industrial era, have multiuple allies around me, both land and sea, we all have necessary tech, yet no new routes
Quxudais 7 Jul, 2014 @ 12:48am
This may be a dumb question, but is this supposed to increase the number of available trade routes you can have at one time (provided you meet the coditions listed)? I have a vassal civ in the middle of my territory I liberated with a road connecting it to the rest of my empire and open borders, but I only have the standard 7 trade routes you can normally get (industrial era)

Please include the ability to have a trade route which goes along a river between two cities in a civilization:KSmiley:
IKillU4Free 2 Apr, 2014 @ 8:58pm
SpaceViking1 has the right idea
TexStarshine 15 Feb, 2014 @ 2:20pm
If you added the river connection feature for other cities in the same civ I would kiss you!
Joe 18 Jan, 2014 @ 2:29am
I don't really understand this mod, could you please give me a little extra explanation?
mattyjax 31 Dec, 2013 @ 6:16am
Does this give your own cities connection via river or just other civs? thanks.
Codefreak5 17 Nov, 2013 @ 5:41pm
I've always wondered why something like this wasn't included. Subscribed.
NotColeslaw 9 Nov, 2013 @ 3:37pm
Dont know if this is just me, but the "show foregin trade routes" button appears in the middle of the screen, can be quite annoying.
JohnnyBlue07 8 Nov, 2013 @ 11:36am
Rated up, Favorited, and Subscribed. Great mod. Thanks for your efforts. :)
Gedemon  [author] 7 Oct, 2013 @ 7:56am
Compatible with all versions.
This was made before BNW, using another mechanism.
VAILLANCOURT 7 Oct, 2013 @ 5:21am
@Homo[Bo]- BNW is required as the trade routes function only exists via that DLC.
Quinn 22 Sep, 2013 @ 11:56pm
That has probably been asked already, but do you need G&K or BNW for it?
gohststrikerthree 11 Sep, 2013 @ 10:50am
yo
Cranky Coyote 23 Aug, 2013 @ 4:37pm
Sounds great!
Gedemon  [author] 23 Aug, 2013 @ 4:29pm
You can have a look at BNW credit list to answer your first question.

About the second question, I do not plan any changes to this in the near future, but may work on it again later, as a part of a bigger economic mod.
Cranky Coyote 23 Aug, 2013 @ 4:20pm
@sparrow I was wondering the same thing.

@Gedemon I too am wondering if you will change this at all for BNW. It still works but displays wierdly for me. I like the idea of a road connecting the cities as well as the caravans that have been a part of these kinds of games forever.
Aurelius 20 Jul, 2013 @ 7:48pm
A Brave New World verson would be amazing, especially since the trade system has been reworked.
King Kek 10 Jul, 2013 @ 8:28pm
Will you be making a Brave New World version? It still applies even with the new trade system.
Chaonix 8 Jul, 2013 @ 8:16pm
wow....thanks for the extensive description...NOT......PASS
japerson34 21 Jun, 2013 @ 3:46pm
Keep getting "UI didn't load" error when using this mod.
Warwick🐺 9 Jun, 2013 @ 12:33pm
Good thing forgien trade routes will be in brave new world c:
Ryry916 18 May, 2013 @ 7:08am
I subscribed but it isnt showing on my mod list...I am using PC.
DylanJack 8 May, 2013 @ 3:27pm
Does the Arab civ bonus work with this?
n0rris 10 Apr, 2013 @ 2:56pm
Question... reading through the notes of the up-coming Brave New World DLC... I'm curious as to how close the official application of cultural pressures and foreign trade works are to yours. Have you been contacted by Firaxis at all? Do they acknowledge the workshop contribution like say Valve does for TF2 submissions that get implemented (even if slightly altered) into the game?
Tillerius 31 Mar, 2013 @ 9:55am
Gedemon, I love all your mods. You are fantastic. :D
Gedemon  [author] 17 Mar, 2013 @ 9:40am

thehawk_2200 17 Mar, 2013 @ 9:39am
I miss this mod since I bought G+K... any idea how it could be fixed to work with G+K?
Communist Toaster 14 Mar, 2013 @ 12:10pm

Gedemon  [author] 26 Dec, 2012 @ 10:56pm
yes to both question.
Assadads 26 Dec, 2012 @ 8:45pm
Does it work with the city states aswell?
wickedzen 3 Dec, 2012 @ 10:35pm
Will AI use foreign trade routes also?
