Anyone curious as to why your game won't launch with this, it's because Frackin Universe is using the same Uncommonrapier name. I just looked through the paks for every single mod that I have (quite a large number) and these two were the only mods that showed up in the search.
Any way we can get a fix from the author? I'd love to use your mod, but I've been unable to use it with Frackin.

Uninstalled this mod due to excessive spawning of longswords and rapiers, two weapons that I consider to be worthless due to their disadvantages.

Well to answer for the weapon fusion mod to help out the other mod, was the damage types. You have to have all damage styles not just the basic. Each one of the findable versions uses either the short or the broad sword damage types. But once fused via the weapon fusion mod it made them use a damage type that was not there. So to fix all I needed to do was make the Dagestan files for the rapier and such by copying and renaming to the needed name for the weapon type. If you need an example loon at the damage files and just read through the names. All I did was take the short sword file and rename it to rapier and did that for all the elements and then did the same for the the others using the original damage type the weapons used before the fusion. Lance used the spear ect. If you need any other help let me know.

It was working for me when I played on a friends computer. The loot tables might be a bit off but when i can get a new computer I will update and fix the problem but it worked fine for me as i found all types of items.

MY laptop is unable to charge so i only have limited batery life but once i get a new laptop i can continue to add to it. But if you have any ideas post a discussion on them so i can work on them when i can.

Yeah, every single weapon I find is from this mod, and while I enjoy this mod its kinda takes away from finding unique loot

Can you please reduce the chances of these weapons appearing a slight touch? I've played a new character for a long time and the vast majority of weapons I find are long swords or rapiers, and sometimes lances. with anything else being usually a gun or something. I've got a number of other weapon type adding mods and the sheer volume of rapiers, longswords and lances I'm finding is slightly too much... thankfully I have weapon fusion and other such mods so I can cross combine and fusion the parts etc as I get too many, but it's still a bit of a pain.

Maybe as a rough number, maybe down by 30-50% in numbers. Since I've literally never found a shortsword or dagger in my entire game and maybe like 2 or 3 axes, hammers and spears. :< (although the chance of getting them is even worse due to all the other things I can possibly get).

It shouldnt spaw only those weapons as i used the same code lines for the common that i used for the rare. Ive found more vanilla weapons in the rare than i have found mine. I will look into it while i have the time but make sure you dont have any other mods that do the same thing to remove any conflict.

this mod messes with the loot-pool somehow;
while /spawntreasure commonMelee spawns longswords/rapiers/lances as well as normal shortswords/broadswords/etc, /spawntreasure uncommonMelee and /spawntreasure rareMelee exclusively spawns rapiers, longswords and lances.

i hope that you can fix this little issue

Allows me to make a small correction, the element Star would cause 2 effects:
The first is that the affected being emits a bluish light (similar to the fluorescent lamps) and the second that temporarily becomes your ally, this effect has been done before although I do not know if it is with wands, I thought that it was more An element for melee weapons.

Though i do know how to create elements and add in effects to them the ones you are suggesting are beyond what i know. Besides this mod i am also working on the Monster Hunte Equippment mod and as I work 6-7 days a week and work alone on my mods it will take some time. I do plan to eventually release a mod called Meta Magic(working title) that will ahve new spells, spells from stafs that are now one handed, and new elements for weapons and abilities to go with them. As i dont have a a lot of time to mod it will be sem time before these things can be made. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I suggest creating new attributes for weapons:
Star - beaten enemies emit intense blue light, luring other monsters to attack
Dark Matter - Beaten enemies are paralyzed while receiving damage (similar to poison) if their hp reaches 0 they explode in a black sphere that can contaminate other enemies with dark matter.

I also suggest to create 3 unique weapons originating in the Final Fantasy saga, these are The weapons of Squall lionheart, Lightning and Serah Farron, the details I leave in the starbound forum

Itdepends on which weapons. The findable ones are random gen the ones with actual names are more or less examples of what the weapons are like so people can decide if they like them or not. I could look into it in the futrue. Maybe have a special merchant that sells random weapons.

Before anyone asks, no this mod is not dead. I have just been bust with work and have been un able to work on it much less even play starbound. Sorry guys it will be a bit longer before i can make a new update. Please be patient.

I will upload a fix later today for the issue regarding elemental damage AFTER fusing longswords and other weapons. So in the mean time try not to swing fused weapons from this mod.

Is there a problem with this mod and weapon fusion station? when i fuse a longsword without a element with one that does, everytime i hit something with it, it crashes the game and sends me back to menu

the code to test is /spawntreasure commonMelee. they have the same weight as the other base items"1.0"

Well, when i do the "spawntreasure weapon or goodWeapon" I never get Broadswords or Shortswords, which led be to believe they were replaced. i will attempt this addon again.

They do not replace them at all. it might feel that way as there is 3 more types to be found. I have made plenty of new characters and have found all the weapon types.

Is there a way you can make it so that Rapiers and longswords dont replace the Shortsword and Broadsword spawns? Not having any specials on my non modded broadswords is annoying.

This mod allwas those who subsrice to it to make these weapon types for their mods. In the description is the code that needs to be tweeked inorder for them to use the types. I just included the 2 weapon types i have nnow in the random trasure pool, so now you can find swords with my 2 weapon types. I had orrignaly intended this to more or less be a modders resource i was going to add in more stuff for others to use but it seems people also want to be able to find them aswell. I hope that sheded some light on my mod.
