Manticore B was always in the files but this mod was used in CaydenX's total conversion and he had it spawning in a fixed place. Including code which assigned a random nearby system to also be Manticore B would have mucked things around. I don't think that mod isn't being updated anymore though so...
Colonize 2b? Probably not without other mods which boost habitability in some way. I think I added that as extra flavour rather than just throw in another unhabitable planet.
It isn't possible to add to categories in a way that doesn't override - i.e. doing so to the default categories then at the least makes mods incompatible with other people's species. So yeah, working on a new (not Honorverse) portrait pack.
I'm going to get around to giving this system a few spots of paints soon-ish, as I said.
As far as CaydenX's mod? I'm only a contributor ofc. I think he's stopped work on it. Beyond that I know nothing. Sorry :/
This is due for a little revamp now that I've worked out how to make custom colonizable asteroids. Might cut down on the number of them a little too, since there are too many I think. People have commented on this.
I'll follow your advice at the same time as excessive anomalies can be annoying :)

It is a necessary expedient unfortunately, but the A component makes a damn good start system on its lonesome. I'll be on a lookout for a way to remedy this, of course.
