Works well, thank you. I did have to go quite a distances away from where I've explored to get it to work on an existing save game. Even solar systems I never visited, but were close to where I explored, didn't work.

Maybe? I didn't really care to try going for higher since I just wanted to let people farm colonies like they used to.

Ah...is threat lvl 10 the highest? No more higher than 10 for even better gear and stuff? :P

Wait, so this is like farming for items/pixels by creating a colony, then go do your stuff and come back later to take their rent off them, whatever it may be; pixels or cool vanity/useful items?

@Boltte Essentially create a slum on the moon (since residents only need to have an enclosed space for their sign to work) and reap the rewards from a densly populated area giving you the highest tier of rewards possible.

@ViralHatred Then I honestly have no clue. It works on my end still with a moon farm I generated probably 3 hours ago to double check it still works.

Just vanilla, fresh universe.

That's why I was a little confused and started digging in the files myself to see if something has changed.

Erchius ghosts still instant kill me (like it would do at that tier) but the rewards don't seem to be higher.

Oh, then I am unsure. It may be possible that another mod that edits the moons may be the cause of it. Also, just to note, you are making the colony on a Vanilla moon, right? This mod only affects Vanilla moons and is probably very susceptible to other mods overwriting it (I don't know mod load orders and I might be able to patch their patches).

I mean with the colonies, since I've been using this and at most they're giving me around 400 pixels, but I can make that amount on a T2 world.

@ViralHatred Moons show up as "Unknown" due to a seperate thing in the games files, I could make it any threat level and it would still come up as unknown. If/When I can be bothered, I'll add an extra patch to remove all moons coming up as "Unknown" in the threat level.

Does this still work, I've been fiddling around but I'm not sure it does anymore? I think they've capped it at threat 7 but I'm not sure.

Unfortunately no mod can do that. I don't know how they reset it, since planets are stored separately, but they did. You know, if someone could make a planet editor (I'm looking into it) then we could all be happy.

But they changed allexisting moons to lvl 1 in the update, why cant someone shange all existing moons back to lvl 10? I spent hours on a huge moon bace and i dont want to rebuild it.

Ok, it does appear I'll need to find a whole new star system I've never even seen before for building my colony. I was rather hoping this would just make my old moon colony viable again. :'(

Still... Better to still have access to the Tier 10 moons SOMEHOW than not at all. Shall have to check in once I start a new moon colony that does work.

I do believe I just hadn't moved far enough outwards from where I had been exploring, I've managed to find a fresh region of space that is now spawning tier 10 moons. I am very grateful to you, sir. It's only a shame that so much time has been wasted on all those old, pretty, little moon colonies.

I'll look into how the procedural generation system works to see what is affected and how it is affected. As far as I know, if the star hasn't been generated, then it should generate according to the new patch.

Confirmed, a fresh colony on a previously undiscovered moon still yields tier 1 drops. Do you mean newly generated moons in an entirely new starmap?

Ok, i just built new colony on a new moon and it`s still threat 1. Maybe that is because solar system was already "discovered", now i`ll try to built on a freshly discovered star system, and watch result...

I want to note that this mod will only affect newly generated moons.
If there are still issues, I'll look further into the game files. As far as I know though, unless they've changed how tenants work and not documented such changes, this mod should work as intended.
