Regarding the water, it could be that you have a nodraw or something in the way if it's not the bottom not being sealed with a floor texture, or that you tried to use the effects/toxicslime1 texture, which doesn't really work in Portal 2.

The info_placement_helper, although a relatively minor detail (and thus you can leave it out if you must), is really easy to use: just place it in the middle of a portalable surface where you expect the center of the portal to be positioned. If it's not working, make sure you have the "Force placement" parameter set to "Yes."

I understand that it can seem tedious to make a map, and I wish you the best of luck with this one!

I haven't been able to work on Portal 2 for some time but I'll keep that in mind. I did try the "info_placement_helper" and other things. I've watched vidoes on youtube and did exactly as the tutorials have said and well.... i'm still unsure what's preventing me from seeing the water correctly.

Yes, I did know there weren't enough box droppers located throughout the place and that it could be a problem if someone were to lose there cube and not get it back. I've spent so much time correcting problems and such that I didn't want to rearrange the areas to insert the box droppers. I hope soon I'll correct the problem and continue working on the many other rooms I was working on. Thanks for playing and giving suggestions.

I too noticed the water problem. Did you apply one of the water textures (in the nature folder) and seal the bottoms of the pits? It's likely not as complicated as you would expect.

Speaking of textures, try using different metal textures for the floors, walls and ceilings. For portalable textures, I recommend using more of them where it doesn't hinder your puzzle, and an info_placement_helper to correct portal placement. The textures on the panels were misaligned.

Also, not having respawning cubes is a problem since the player can get trapped. You were able to do it almost everywhere, but it needs to actually be everywhere.

11-18... good luck working on those. I managed to fall out of the world (because the spaces behind the fizzlers weren't properly sealed)! I also noticed the lack of an ending.

Although lengthy, I see great potential in this map. I liked the puzzles.

Yes there's a timer and yes i know about the water problem. I've tried to fix that problem. I've spent over 6 hours and got no where. It's very simple but i'm not sure why I can't get it to work.

In the room 05 the water is buggy, clipping problems apparently... Also is there a timer on the wall on which you shoot the bridge to take the cube? If so you should really make the sound :(

They aim at u with there red beams but don't shoot at u. And another reason why it seems harder and because that one turrent, it attack it much higher and sends u further back. Basicly it's a super turrent.

alright i'll tell u. Crab a box from another room (Hint larger room). Bring it in the turrent room with you and use it as a shield. (Also the 3 turrets you see, 2 of them don't shoot).

I can't get pass the first level in the turrets part. I don't know how I'm supposed to get the last box. How am I supposed to knock the 3 last turrets?

yes the third map is the last. I'll fix that again. I'm actually working on that one now but it's taking a long time to make it.

Well I finished this floor with the remaining cubes... And noclip X)
I suppose that the third floor is the end of the map, but the final trigger is broken and the game will continue in this floor... With strange bugs again for all the gates and the central platform ^^"

I apologize about the boxes not respawning. Only a few do. When I made the game awhile back I was new to alot of thinigs. Once u get past rooms 1-4 the next area, you actually don't need 1 of the boxes for the room with lots of buttons and a door in front. It would make things easier of course but you don't have to have it.

Hem, and I think I stuck myself in the room 9 : I accidentally destroyed the cube in a fizzler, and it didn't respawn -_- I'm actually trying to use the cube of the room 10 instead... But I suppose one cube will lack at the end...

Oh and I don't know what you used to replace the acid pits, but it produce weird graphical bugs ( bug 2 ) for me X)

Thought I fixed that awhile back (except the water). I did try to fix the water many times. I'm not sure if it's my computer or what exactly is preventing me from making it look like real toxic water.

Great chamber!!! This was fairly challenging without being frustrating. I liked it a lot! The 3rd floor down though has nothing on it... also, none of the goo pits look right, they just look like black holes (like its a hole in the map) but it still makes the splash and brown color + kills you if you jump into it. You need to add a proper end until you get the 3rd floor up. Otherwise at the end of the map you're dropped into a room with nothing but doorways to the outside of the map

I fixed the first area of the game. When u beat part 1 now, you'll be able to proceed to the next area.
