Looks pretty tight, the sound is awesome and the projectile is too, however i'm seeing a clear muzzle flash discrepancy when firing (forward and up where it should have been).

Also this is just an opinion and an aesthetic gripe from someone who's played MW4 Mercs and Quake too much but the supersonic circles thing reminds me more of a gauss rifle and a straight line or what looks like a laser beam reminds me more of a railgun. the zz mech mod has a railgun as well and it could give you some inspiration, maybe.

Can you make another add on for a super rail gun because my friend and i are doing duels in starbound and we want an instakill sniper-type weapon maybe hitscan but a relatively fast projectile. Maybe even implementing the bow mechanic mentioned below?

I don't have the steam version of Starbound but I would really like to have this integrated into my Starbound experience.

Interesting charge mechanic. I think it would be cool if, not only different elements, but different projectile types were available; but then, I apply that statement to all weapons, really. I'm assuming right click is to charge it? The guy who did Astronomical Armory added miniguns with a similar feature for spin up, but lately he's considering using shift-right-click or perhaps just have spin up be required so as to add abilities.

Would it be possible to be a modification of the 'Bow' class of weapons? The animation could even be the lights on the barrel being turned on to show how much it is charged.
