Hmm, maybe they are programmed to use pedestrian paths whenever they are available. I saw a similar phenomenon with another asset earlier. I would have liked to place a large fountain in the middle of the flowers but I have already learned that cims will always come and sit on it. So they would have walked through the flowers all the time :P

Yeah, that's right - sometimes it's quite weird how cims behave... (like computers or women: you never know ^^). The funny thing concerning this asset: Instead of using the street, cims took the path through the garden (which is a detour actually!) Just to pass through (wasn't counted as "real visitors"). Maybe the cims aren't as stupid as we thought, cause having a nice walk trough the garden is quite a good idea when being on way to work or whatever. I was just wondering, because usually they take the shortest way to reach their targets.

@momo: Great! One is a good start... Honestly, I do not always understand the game logic, where people go and where they don't. In my cities the problem is probably that I build so many parks and unique buildings - there simply aren't enough people to make them all crowded. And the poor cims do not make much difference between a parking lot "park" and the really beautiful places :(

Ok, then I'll wait for educated sims ;-) Maybe that's the reason: I put the Botanical garden on an island. So cims are visiting the island, but they all run to the beaches, which seem to have a higher attractiveness (sometimes there are more than 100 persons on one beach!!). They prefer having a bath and making party on the beach instead of walking through your nice Botanical Garden. Maybe I should let it rain and see if they escape in the glass house of bortanical garden ;-) Nice asset though!

@momo: Thank you! I built this in two of my test cities, and eventually some visitors came. At least one person was smart enough to go in through the entrance (there's a door marker there). It just seems to take some time before they find a new place?

Looks really good ingame! But unfortunately no visitors... :-(
