@Astadyl I'd suggest changing all mentions of "Wanda" in this mod's code to "Wanda_Illustrator" in order to fix this mod. Developers of Wanda, The Ingenuitive Illustrator, feel free to use my idea, but at least thank me in the description or, more preferably, add me as a contributor. (If this fix works, of course.)

I take it this mod will forever be broken, causes crashes on startup. been this way since september. same month as the DLC Wanda, probably not a coincidence?

I really hope this mod gets fixed someday but odds are the creators moved on so that's unlikely.

Mind updating this for the new patch that Klei released? You can take a look at what "Goat Slice" did with his "Reign of Runts" mod for guidance, since he is the only one who has updated their character mod so far.

She seems not really all that special. Her items are only useful to make once you get into mid-game, and she can only make a pickaxe and hatchet. I feel she has a ton of potential, but seems lacking right now

Hello everyone!
I apologize for my long hiatus, but I'm back! I'll be trying to get back in touch with the other mod collaberators and get Wanda all polished up for you guys here soon. There should be a patch already ready to go, but I'll see what I can do until then to work on her custom voice lines.
Once again, my deepest apologies for my absence!

what software do you use to create the characters?

I normally am not into character mods but I just think Wanda is so cool

I'd recommend looking at the Alice Margatroid characte mod for DST. It has a pretty interesting follower mechanic that might help you with coding this character.

Unlike what is stated in the description (I asked for a correction), the tools are better than the basic ones: they are much more durable and will hit your foes with more power if you don't have anything else to defend yourself.

Although I love the idea of using the pen to draw things that could be summoned (like followers etc.) but I have no idea how to code it so that's why it wasn't included

I do notice too that her health is too high and I will correct it as the next update will provide her an advantage in battle (but with some costs so it's not too perfect)

Also keep looking forward as I managed to add the final feature I wanted to include, and it will be released soon




(and no she isn't taller than any other character but that's how the game deals with sprites unfortunately)
