RiP mod?
MokahTGS 10 Mar, 2018 @ 2:11pm
A couple issues I've noticed: The conduits leak items if they get to a container that has a slot full that its supposed to insert into. For example moving water from a storage chest into grow beds is fine, but when the water slot (slot 2) is full (1000) it doesn't know where to go and leaks out of the I/O conduit. It needs code to handle this. If an items doesn't have anywhere to go, it should not get put into the tube, or it should go back to where it came from.

Also, the I/O conduits don't seem to work with the ^ as a blacklist option. Whatever I try I can't get the I/O conduits to not take items.

Third, Facade conduits can't be placed under a container or machine without breaking the container or machine. I can put it back but its pretty annoying.
MokahTGS 10 Mar, 2018 @ 12:31pm
This desperately needs a blacklist function to that I can tell an insert conduit to not accept certain items.

Crossley I'll add your ideas to our update report, nick has some items in the pipeline he's working on but im sure your great ideas will be looked into. I'll add them to the report tonight.
Nickc01  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 8:19pm
Those look like pretty cool ideas, I'll keep them in mind and see if I can work them into a future update.

So I love mods like this, and since there arn't many Non-FU versions of these mods, this is one of the best Non-FU out there, But I have some suggestions for you (If you want me to elaborate on one of these ideas make a suggestion disscussion):

Packet Speed and Packet Draw speed upgrades:
Basically splits the current speed modules into Packet Speed (How fast a packet moves) and Packet Draw Speed (How fast a packet is taken out of an inventory)

Wired Extractor (Green with red stripe): Exact same as the normal Extractor, only it has a wired connection, adds a new small section, where you can control how a signal effects the extractor, including the extraction list.

Packet Detector (Red): Sends a wire signal when a packet/item that fits one of the tests in a list (like the extraction list) passes through it.

Category Codex: Basically a codex that shows all the categories and types that can be used.

nick just in case I'm off starbound community forum....find me here or my email we can exchange there.

Hands down best transport and soon to be digital type storage mod I have ever seen and used. Better then startech. Better then steambound. Close to digital storage, Dev Hiran has been working on it night and day. Better then starfoundry, even though I never tried it the fact it's been abandoned. If Nick keeps working on smart tubed night and day, will be the most downloaded mod I beieleve for starbound. Ready to give this dude a huge donation if he shows me my ideas I gave him. Keep up the excellent work dude
amyy 29 Dec, 2017 @ 9:57am
as for item type, https://starbounditems.herokuapp.com/all has a list of all items and their type
amyy 29 Dec, 2017 @ 9:56am
wait nvm, untrue
btw you dont need to know how to code to find item categories, all you need is 1. an unpacked assets folder and 2, basic json knowledge, you dont even need to code to learn it
i also took the liberty of checking some categories, here you go:
rotten food's category is foodJunk,
crafting materials (ore, scorched core and all other elemental drops, hardened carapace, etc have a category of craftingMaterial,
dyes have a category of clothingDye,
prepared food has a category of preparedFood,
crops have a category of eventCrop,
and meat has a category of cookingIngredient

amyy 29 Dec, 2017 @ 9:43am
@wakaitsu
it says on the item what category it is
not sure about type tho
Wakazu 29 Nov, 2017 @ 4:06am
You know, that would be EXTRIMELY USEFUL to add an ingame codex listing all possible categories. Since not all people knows how to code things like a prog, eh. For example I don't know what's prepared foods and cooking ingridients belong to.
dingus 21 Nov, 2017 @ 6:24am
Is it compatible with steambound?
Sixixix 10 Nov, 2017 @ 8:24am
i like the new interface but one sugjestion this mod used to be compadible with instant crafting so can that be a thing agen
Leosky 19 Oct, 2017 @ 9:26am
Could it be possible to add a condition to only move stack of a specified size ? Like two or 50 to allow to move stack corresponding of extractor / smleters etc of FU for exemple. May be in the Amount to leave field ?
Priesttech 22 Jun, 2017 @ 7:48am
Confirm the bug with facade wrench. LMB and RMB don't work, it just freeze in one place. Error log is on forum.
Hineko 11 Jun, 2017 @ 3:09am
I think there is a bug. the facade tool doesn't work since 1.3 update

@fang try "@craftingMaterial"
Sera 4 Jun, 2017 @ 12:29pm
I have found a bug. No matter what I put in it wil not move crafting materials without putting the item into the filter to add it as one slowing down the pipes a lot. so if i put @crafting material it takes nothing in that but if i add "take coal" it will then move coal but then i need to add a filter for bars then wood then every other items making the pipe have to go threw a ton of filters slowing the sorting down.
Sera 18 May, 2017 @ 6:22pm
Thisis a amazing mod. The only thing I would say is missing is away to not take something. Like lets say I want seeds took out of 1 and the rest of stuff took out of another i could do @seed and click invert so it takes everything but seeds.
Alph-Awakened 18 May, 2017 @ 12:02pm
update, looks like upon upgrade to Fission Furnace, all options disappear for this mod. Primative has a tab with no items, assuming thats normal, industrial has the items, atomic also, icon disapears on fission, tab remains but cannot be clicked.
Alph-Awakened 18 May, 2017 @ 7:48am
Maybe im missing something, but i see no option to make the tubes at all, admin or otherwise, is there a crafting station or item, and if so whats it called?
Maduain 13 Mar, 2017 @ 3:20pm
It shouldn't. Worst case scenario is unsubscribe, wait a minute, and resubscribe and it will wipe all contents of the mod folder and then replace it with the .pak file. Steam is typically good about those issues though so nobody should have to do that.
Nickc01  [author] 13 Mar, 2017 @ 12:36pm
As for the storage issue, that is currently being worked on. This bug in particular has been pretty tricky, but I am making some headway, it should hopefully be fixed soon.

As for steam, I'm looking into using the .pak file for steam. I initially used a folder structure mainly to follow tutorials. But I'm also worried that if I change the format, it could break something for all the current subscribers.
Maduain 12 Mar, 2017 @ 12:25pm
Hmm... You have it packed into a .pak on your website, but not here on steam. Its having issues loading based off of that.
ZOMBEAT 6 Mar, 2017 @ 7:57pm
very cool mod but it duplicates items :
item jumps out from insertion conduit and it is also put in the storage
someone have this issue ?
ace 21 Dec, 2016 @ 7:13pm
Best item transfer mod ever!

Hineko 24 Sep, 2016 @ 11:38am
very nice mod. :steamhappy:
a small idea. the option to sort not only by name, also by type would be nice
Warlow 17 Sep, 2016 @ 2:10am
Suggestion, can you make the extraction and insertion blocks more tough to picking up? right now i can simply click with my MM and they pickup, clearing all rules. Give them the same value as densanium or something
iter mortuus 13 Sep, 2016 @ 6:48pm
quick question that i also asked in the mod main page. can this work with the mashines from fracken unvirse? like sending cobblestone into an extreactor then pulling the raw minerals out of the extractor into another chest?
Nickc01  [author] 13 Sep, 2016 @ 12:49pm
My bad, didn't have enough time to fill all the info when i posted the mod a few days ago, I"ll fill it in now
aaa 13 Sep, 2016 @ 2:24am
Thanks for sharing the link!

Was looking for a replacement for steambound reloaded's broken routers, and this sounded exactly like the what the routers were supposed to do. :)
Weaver 12 Sep, 2016 @ 8:46pm
Orrr at least link to your playstarbound mod with the detailed description that I just ran into: http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/smart-tubes.4152/
Weaver 12 Sep, 2016 @ 7:17pm
Needs a lot more info. Item transit mods are usually complex and often require more documentation than your average mod. Just look at Steambound Reloaded or Item Broadcaster. The people who want this kind of was need to know how to use it and trust that it won't wreck their precious collections. :3
