Hey PrairForMercy cool mod I i love it ... are you going to update the style to SE bet, at some point?
XEN 17 Sep, 2016 @ 10:32pm
Oh thats kool dude. It wouldnt even need to be the interior block. It could be anything really. Like plain armor like with your sloped blocks
PrairForMercy  [author] 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:41am
I can try but will be difficult the way the interieur block is differently constructed
XEN 17 Sep, 2016 @ 9:10am
Its rough as balls but yeah. And if the top was inset a bit to sit flush alongsode other blocks

@xen
could you make a screenshot with the vanilla blocks and then mark where you would want the connector to be :) ? because i got no clue what you mean
andbruu 17 Sep, 2016 @ 12:26am
@PrairForMercy
Very nice. Thanks alot.
No further suggestions for connectors. They really help me make my current build better (exploration cruiser). Now I only need a nice spinal mounted weapon.
XEN 16 Sep, 2016 @ 9:18pm
Damn it the formatting screwed my diagram lol
XEN 16 Sep, 2016 @ 9:18pm
Like what you have done with the armor slope connectors. They are perfect, but I need a central connector that will fit along side vanilla blocks. The connector could sit between the cut off slope blocks

I think maybe the interior block miiiight need shrinking for the connector to be sticking out. But what I was thinking is on one of the flat surfaces of the interior block just Inset the face so it has a lip and copy paste the connector in so it sits just on the top. So the inset sort of... Reveals the connector do you know what I mean?
XEN 16 Sep, 2016 @ 9:12pm
Yeah basicly. Ore even an Interior block with a connector burried in it. Then side connectors. That would be amazing!
PrairForMercy  [author] 16 Sep, 2016 @ 8:23pm
@xen
you mean like the armor slab block with connector ?
XEN 16 Sep, 2016 @ 7:14pm
Like what you did with the angled armor one only squared like... I dont know if you know the mod "Half Height Armor Slabs - Because why not" Im imagining one of those half slabs with a connector poking out. Feel like it would fit along side vanilla better. AND it would fit along side some of the sloped blocks real nice
XEN 16 Sep, 2016 @ 7:11pm
Wow brilliant dude. If the six way looked more like a connector burried in an interior block or some such would be awesome!
PrairForMercy  [author] 16 Sep, 2016 @ 6:07pm
@andbruu
added a connector with 5 conveyor Ports.
really liked the suggestion if you have any other let me know.
andbruu 16 Sep, 2016 @ 11:35am
@PrairForMercy
Ok, fair enough. Hope it is possible, or you can do one with only a side connector then.
Mircea The Young 16 Sep, 2016 @ 11:30am
Every time I fell into the connector I built into the floor for small ships I though how awesome it would be to have one of these.
PrairForMercy  [author] 16 Sep, 2016 @ 10:54am
@andbruu
i will look into adding more connector ports i can easily model it in but don't know if the game will allow more then 1 conveyor connection on a connector. some things are weirdly hardcoded.
andbruu 15 Sep, 2016 @ 11:25am
@PrairForMercy
Any chance of you adding connection ports on the sides of your connectors? And regarding cost, adding a few additional steel plates seems right based on your blocks' look.
XEN 15 Sep, 2016 @ 7:06am
Actually I just looked at the originals and they are like that too.. Im trippin
PrairForMercy  [author] 15 Sep, 2016 @ 7:03am
ah yeah that's a modeling error on mine part :D
XEN 15 Sep, 2016 @ 6:35am
I love that connector indicator thing around the whole block thats wicked
XEN 15 Sep, 2016 @ 6:34am
Thats kool dude, They still look good. Oh, like the connectors are more hexagonal rather than round
PrairForMercy  [author] 15 Sep, 2016 @ 6:21am
Trying to work on better texture but it's slow just started out trying this mod thing out. What you mean with poly chopped?
XEN 15 Sep, 2016 @ 6:04am
DT did a pack of Airtight blocks. Its just super out of date. This is a very welcome adition awesome job dude! My only critique would be the textures not fitting and the models appear like they have been poly chopped. But still awesome!
lylesonders 14 Sep, 2016 @ 9:28pm
I agree with Zac fantastic Idea, not sure why no one thought of it til now.
woostyboy 14 Sep, 2016 @ 3:49pm
Very nice.
PrairForMercy  [author] 14 Sep, 2016 @ 3:24pm
You're Welcome, I am gone try to get a better texture using the vanilla one now. not bad but could be better looking.
zen 14 Sep, 2016 @ 12:54pm
fantastic idea, thanks
