Nice mod, but unfortunately it breaks the Curved Stations mod.

I think you shouldn't replace the high speed track but add an additional one

There is a bug when you create stations with more than two tracks: the platforms are missing for several tracks (e.g. only one platform for three tracks).

@Fantomas- You know about the "Buffer stops" mod?
You have to place them manualy but they look very good and you have old and new ones.
Also there are 2 bumpers as depot mods. One has the default look and the other are modern ones.
In case of the "Buffer stops" mod it is great that this mod remove the original automatic placed buffers because else you can't place the custom bumpers. :)

Track upgrade: It looks like this setting is hard coded for now. So you will only be allowed to upgrade to high speed tracks from 1975. If you prefer to upgrade to modern standard tracks instead, then you have to swap the high_speed.lua and modern_standard.lua files.

@isii It would be cool if you could update the track and railstation scripts to the newest originals, because there are missing some features now (stairs and bumpers).

@BuffGoo: I haven't found a way to add an upgrade button. I'll look into it more after the next update, maybe they add an option for that then.

When I activate this mod then the mod "Longer Train Stations" stops working for me.
A pity because I like both. :)

Adds a type of track ("Modern Standard") to the game, replacing the high speed tracks, which are made available in 1975 for a higher price instead. Here would be the german translation. Diese Mod fügt dem Spiel einen neuen Streckentyp ("modernen Standard") hinzu. Dieser moderne Standard ist anstatt der Hochgeschwindigkeitstrecken, welche jetzt im Jahre 1975 für einen höhren Preis verfügbar sind.

@Joni: If you want to customise the speeds, you can find the mod in [SteamApps path]/workshop/content/446800/763680704. From there the track config files are located in res/config/track.

Other than that I'm working on an update that fixes the bumper issue and raises the max speed on the high speed tracks to 320 kph.

Can you make that the high Speed tracks 360km/h have beacause the mods from high speed trains are sometimes higher than 300 km/h

One more thing. In Germany trains drive 200 km/h on the modernstandard.

When I active this mod, the bumper will disappear.
Please add the following sentences to res/config/track/xxxx.lua

t.bumperModel = "railroad/bumper.mdl"

The cargostation has the highspeed rail and not the modernstandard. But the high speed has the wood rail. Hope you can patch this bug. But I enjoy this mod!

Yea, I actually thought of a different way of doing the mod, I just need to get back to my dektop, as my laptop isn't quite enough to run the game to test the update.

At this moment in time the mod seems to be causing an error with one of the functions for adding Tram Cantenary... not sure why exactly

Unfortunately I haven't found a way to add an upgrade tool yet. I'll look into it some more, but in the meantime we'll probably have to live with rebuilding rails if you want them to be faster.

how do you upgrade stations and tracks as not an option under the upgrade tool for tracks and when you try to upgrade the stations, not an option either. Love this mod though, real glad you can use the engines that have a higher speed than 120km prior to high speed track availability. :steamhappy:

I haven't found a way to change the overhead wires, but the models of the catenary masts can be changed.

Oh by the way how is the mod intergrated into the game as I cannot find the folder for this or any other subbed mod?
Though I did see a workshop-related bug posted on the beta test group.

I cannot upgrade stations due to this mod. Could you fix? Or only add tracks don't replace.
