Obj models are simple mesh formats whereas in Source engine games stuff uses smds with have bones + anims etc etc to be compiled in an mdl. So it aint that easy

I see you can change the models, as my understanding goes with .Obj file its a simple dragging/ changing some number on the Z axis (though im not sure what program you are using to change the models, so i might be confused)

The positioning of the scopes are controlled by the weapon model and animation files. So i guess fov mods cant help much unless you dont mind most guns become super huge and close looking.
Screenshot 4 looks nice and close cuz its a FAL where its anim/weapon model dictates the scope to be attached above the receiver as compared to the mosin which scope is above its rear sight base which is pretty far front from the screen

If you can't, can I make it closer with Fov options?

It wont fit the weapons that use this scope and you might see holes at the side mount or it might float in mid air next to the weapons receivers. so sry i wont be doing them. If you have knowledge on how to extract this vpk and modify the model yourself,just go ahead.

can we also get a version of this for the 2x and eclan optics as well since those are much closer to real soviet PUs magnificaion power depending on the variant.

MW3's ACR 6.8 works with Mr.Brightside's ACR animations, just decompile them :P

Currently im porting guns to vanilla anims,so there is no anims that cn fit that gun. but if u knw a custom anim that can fit the weapons magazine and bolt handle position then yeah i can do them
