Does your Mod still work? I've got a Bonescout trying to become a Missionary ship, I've put M at the end of it's name, waited the time it said, nothing, and even tried to change it's name to the name you had. Still nothing

Not sure what you mean as i think only drones can dock with capital ships. Use the fly-to command to select zones.

you could have like a carrier as a home base, or dock them in a carrier and use the carrier to change zones also

The reason i didn't add new purchasable software/upgrade is to avoid potential conflicts with other mods and to keep the save file clean.

Aren't they supposed to be some sort of independent cult? Perhaps we need a true Goner cult mod which in turn takes donations from all factions including player. :) Too bad, i'm kinda busy in RL these days, so i have to stash this idea for now.

I did sort most of the Missionary ship's out in Ep 20 witch sould be up loaded with Ep 19 some time tomrrow. I might try bigger but fast ship later but I got a system now on how to deploy them more easyer.

KTRD: Just finished watching your ep18 on tube, nice one! You will have to check your MessageLog, that's where missionary progress is recorded. I will watch EP19 to see how it goes :)

That whot I been doing for now but thanks I have a massive fleet to look after so getting the missionary ship the move to with the [M] tag on them would save me lots of time thats all.

KTRD: i will try to do that yes. in the mean time, remove the [M] tag and wait until they stop 10-15 seconds, then you can order them to separate zone. once they arrive add the [M] back. I will try to figure out how to do that from the UI via the moveto commands.

ok Can you have them to do the move to order plz. I got like 7 Missionary ships and when I put the [M] then tell them to move to a sector to work there thy jusy stay in the zone where thy are and not move to the zone I tell them.

I just started to use them the mod is working I think the ships seem to follow other ships around the zone there in. Its in my lets play EP 18 but I hope to get a fleet soon from this mod :)

Tags are great but i would really recomment to send the ships to a Player owned, predefined Station.

Maybe the closest player Station within the current system...
Also it would be great if the Prayers could work for a, lets say, Warehouse or what ever Station you assign them to.

I guess other Veterans still know that all Goner Ships (Prayers) belonged to the Temple of Goner.


And sorry again... this script simply reminds me of them... i really struggle with the decision if i activate it or not.

I have decided to go with tagging ship names instead adding even more menus to UI.

Any feedback on that idea would be appreciated :)

I could of course add the converted ships to missionary's squad.

The missionary won't enter highways, so pretty much stays in the zone you started - this defines its 'homebase'. To move it to another zone, first take the [M] tag away, so the scrip stops; then it will respond to moveto commands.

It will take a long while before any ship is converted as it has to level up first.

Goners? Well, i played very little with former X games, so probably you refer to content i know little about.

I wanted some additional 'ongoing; things to look after - this is why this mod was made.

Suggestion:

You should be able to define a "Homebase" for these Prayers... and send their converts to the Homebase instead of sending them to the Player.
