How come the player requires an EPP but npcs dont need one?
In My Glitch playthrough, I noticed that I still died in Heat-filled planets, while the Medieval Glitch just walk around like nothing is happening....
once you do sell a couple of weapons you tend to be fairly well off anyways,
how is it OP?
yeah go buy the cooling pack and go to a lava planet early on with iron armor.
the player still needs to do the usual grind to get the armor and weapons to survive on these planets.....
you're trained as a protectorate and have a Matter Manipulator tool.
you're able to use any weapon that comes into your possession and have vast knowledge of how to build things
as well as a personal ship with an AI and way to respawn should you die.
so you're pretty fearless in the face of death.
imagine a Civilian trying to live that life with no matter tool, no building knowledge or serious combat experience.....and only 1 life.
the EPPs that Civilians can purchase aren't as good as player made ones as they only protect against 1 type of environment and can't be augmented.
i was thinking more along the lines of colonists trying to find a new home and need an cheaper EPP that would protect them.
industries made them Cheap so they'd cut corners removing the augment funtion and muli-enviroment protection feature from some of them so it'd be cheaper to create.
any more expensive and the player would be better of making it themself.
Yup, that should suffice for bases, meanwhile us the player should still require EPP to walk around the environment.
Hey thats acutally a pretty sweet looking mod.
for a moment i thought my mod was going to be voidded out by it but i see it only works on rooms.
it looks great i can imagine building a base with those around it so the colonists aren't in danger of being harmed from the enviroment.
Easier said than done....although oxygen might be possiable.
haven't a clue how to do it for rads, heat and cold.
my first thought is making a custom new liquid....which will be oxygen...
add a machine that can create this liquid oxygen.
you'd place it in rooms and if they're closed off they'd fill with this oxygen liquid.
the oxygen liquid won't literally be liquid but it'll float upwards if possiable
haven't a clue now im rambling here...
space engineers has an air vent block which can fill rooms which oxygen if they're closed off from the outside.
hey any chance you know if radiation planets can acutally kill the player?
only thing i know radiation does to a player is reduce their max health.
cold slowly drains energy than health the longer the player is there
hot slowly and painfully damages player getting worse and worse
and thank you vinchenzojackal&shoon for the idea of adding it the Merchant lists.
because now merchants have a chance to stock the packs.
they sell much much cheaper then infinity express.
check the screenshots
nope. :P
it'll most likely sell for 5 times less
400 pixles to sell
2000 pixles to buy
colonies and selling found weapons are a great way to get decent chucks of cash.
I've been messing with the prices and it seems that whatever its value is....shops sell it for 5 times that amount... :/
need to do some more experimenting but it looks like if I make the price higher shops will multiply it by 5.
seems to ignore the price i set it in the .recipe
