Do you still get corpses occasionally as normal, or if you use this mod do you only get corpses that are carried out?

@Leion As someone who also disabled fulton harness: On the "mark the crates" mission you already lift them out with balloons to have skyranger grab them. I don't think it's unrealistic. It's more just balancing.

This one is amazing. A must have for Long War. Better way to use it for roleplay is just enable Advent Humanoid and Sectoids. Also no fulton.

If I didn't add abba enemies correctly could this mod make my character unresponsive locking the match after dropping a body ? (I only had this and free carry drop subue..!.

OK, it seems this mod is now worked as intended. After the next extract mission, I gained some extra corpses both via fultoning and via carrying them to the evac zone.

Is this supposed to fully work only when one starts a mission with this mod active? I have activated it in the middle of Blacksite mission, I was able to pickup enemies but after evacing their corpses were neither listed in after action report nor added to inventory even though all five soldiers were carrying a corpse.

I am otherwise on vanilla except one mod for permanent hacking of turrets.

found a bug that after reloading a save trying to fix another bug (all enemy dies but the mission would not say so) used fulton will be refunded

Nice addition. If ever the devs tweak the core game (beyond the added content from WotC), this is the kind of thing they could add.

I've been using this the past couple of days and am having a lot of fun lugging carcasses back to the extraction point. It adds a certain amount of angst to the final turns of a mission. It has performed great, and lugging one of those vipers around is hilarious. Thank you, Maluco.

Is there a legacy mod or a hidden feature to be able to see where ''actualy'' is the corpse some times i dont move to the right tile and end up losing an AP

;) I've tried to fix it for more than an year unsuccessfully debt to my lack of skills in the body motion subject.. (see discussion above)... I'm actually using my own version of this mod since more than a year: "[WotC] RW Realistic Carrying Bodies" which is not openly published yet because still needs solving a few issues (such as the Viper tail) and that adds a lot of more stuff... ;)

im subscribe the mods and my xcom 2 only have lw2 im not have the wotc dlc, i dont know why dont appear the option of the Fulton Harness anyone ?

I'm seeing a bug when I have to evac soldiers who were bleeding out but stabilized. After the loading screen inside the skyranger, I press a key to continue and the screen goes black except for a game mouse cursor. It freezes there, playing the music until I Ctrl+Alt+Del and log off (can't bring task manager to front to kill process).
This bug is very consistently repeatable for me; it has happened so far on monument and smash & grab missions.
Can't say for certain if this mod is the one at fault, but all things considered...

you should never try to boot a mod that changes tactical missions while on a tactical mission. If that's what you've done. The crash could be a mere coincidence and my not be connected to this mod at all.

It crashed the mission after trying to activate it, but then the mission worked next time I tried it. Seems to have just been adjusting, maybe?

Well, you subscribe, download, activate the mod in the launcher and boom, next tactical mission, you can carry corpses. This mod has little effect in the base game, though, as you get plenty of enemy materiel anyway and evac seldom. It really shines in overhauls like LW2, though.

Thanks for making this mod, I'm going to check it out later. I just started a legendary wotc play through with a few mods to make things harder, one of them basically activating pods when they see another active pod. So frequently I have to evac after completing the objective (11 units of mutons, snakes, and priests is hard having only 5 guys with pea-shooters).

I feel like picking up dead enemies should have been in the game to begin with, good to know this mod makes that possible (well, when I'm not carrying my own dead and wounded out).

I feel like using this mod with Long War is a bit cheaty as you rarely get the opertuninity to pick up corpses, now mitigated by corpse raiding.

Yeah this is vanilla compatible, it has pretty much everything you need, just missing the proper Fulton visualisation but is otherwise gameplay identical.

I belive this mod will definitely come in handy when it comes to Long War 2. Have you considered creating a LW2 version prior to War of the Chosen's release, or is this also Long War 2 compatible?

Yeah, just check in the BuildItems list, as long as it's enabled in config. No animation in this version, in the WOTC version you get a full animation for the process that looks sweet :P

ahh alright! Well i guess ill "grab" this mod then... Oh and i just tought about the playable aliens mod? Because that would make my soldiers able to carry my alien squadmates to either save them or their gear! Yeah ill definitely download this <3
