and i like these recipes too :) so glad its not something silly like a hyperweave tree
" Create Synthread from Synthread and Plasteel "
First, I wanted to point out a minor correction: Your description says that Hyperweave requires quote, "Crafting 10". However, looking in Recipes_Synthetics.xml , I see that it actually requires Crafting <minLevel>12</minLevel>.
Second, I wanted to point out this discussion I started:
Balancing: A non-Steel approach...
Would you consider releasing a version of this that does away with the Steel and Plasteel requirements? I think my formula are rather balanced and all they require is Cloth, Wool, and/or Devilstrand.
Synthread x75
- Devilstrand x25
- Cloth x50
- Steel x70
Hyperweave x75
- Synthread x75
- Plasteel x50
In my calculation this seems about right in balancing the market value. Also maybe cut the work needed and crafting skill requirement by about half?
If work is required to make something (particularly a lot of work), then the end result should be worth more than the ingredients. Otherwise, there usually isn't much point. At least, I'd completely leave out steel and plasteel from the recipes.
