Simply use mod Insight/Show Me, the game sucks without them anyways :D
The settings above, which say in description sth like "100% is still the max", will combine the "over 100%, so 10 uses +10 uses will geet 20 uses and so on. But because of game limitation still show 100%. Thats why its good to use a mod like "Insight" that shows you eg. the max uses and not only the percentage.
So this setting changed to 200% will make you be able to combine 2x100% axes into a axe that have 200%?
@Akaykin: reproduce the crash with only my mod active. Then send me the logfile showing that a line from my mod is causing the crash. Only this way I can fix it, if caused by my mod.
It does not change specific objects, but components. So it also works for mod items. But very very special items may have problems with this.
Is it compatible with Island Adventures?
I recommend to use a mod like "Insight" to show you the left and max uses/freshness and so on from items, because with "overmax" the percentages displayed will be confusing.
@Lanple: if you want to write to me personally, please write me at the Klei Forum: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/profile/881349-serpens/
Btw. is there menawhile any item that uses finitieuses/fueled/armor AND is stackable? Or is this still only something for perishable objects? I think my calculation with stacks when using overmax modsettings is also not correct (assuming that the shown freshness or uses are valid for all stacked items at once and are decreasing for all of them at once)
I attached the code that I am trying to modify, hoping it will help you understand what I mean:
(The same applies to other REPAIRCOMBINE_overmaxXXX as well)
- added priority = 2 to the combinerepair action.
this prioritizes the combinerepair action more compared to other actions, so now you can eg. also repair the "luxury fan".
Let me know if this causes problems for other objects
with console cheat "c_give("lantern") you can cheat you a lantern in your inventory if you are host (eg. to test it in a new game, to not use your main game for testing)
Why do you want to integrate it into your mod? Please dont do this, just let people install the original or the wegame upload. If you have suggestions on improving my mod, let me know
I am a player of DST and also a mod developer and sharer on the WeGame platform. Recently, I came across your mod on Steam and was deeply impressed by its creativity and functionality. I believe it would be well-received in the WeGame community.
Therefore, I am writing to request your authorization to transfer your mod to the WeGame platform. To ensure your rights and respect your original work, I will retain your name and provide detailed credit to you as the original author in the mod description. Additionally, I would like to integrate some of your mod's features and content into my own mod to enhance the overall gaming experience.
If you agree to grant permission, please let me know if you have any special requirements or considerations.
Thank you very much for considering this proposal, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards
As mentioned in decsription, does not work for all objects, but many.
So yes, if you credit me (at best link to this steam page)
