Is there any way to protect/hold longer against the corrosion? Would be a nice environment for a survival game, if there is a special block that withstands the acid much longer than Vanilla.

@Doctor Octoganapus, perhaps you can help me with an issue. I have a custom planet using Rexxar's script which seems to only work as a local mod. I notices yours works in multiplayer yet I do not see any code differences. Could you clue me in as to what I need to adjust to allow the corrosive atmosphere to work on my mod? Thanks in advance!

how do i go about setting the gravity and oxygen for the planet when i spawn it in? all i seem to be able to set is the radius.

@CHΞΞKY I have not updated the script or this planet for a while (which is why the planet is purple), there is a newer version of the script running on my other toxic/hazardous worlds that are up-to-date.

corrosive stuff in atmoshere is broken... i have a base there now for 3 days (ingame) and it still has no damage

any ways to making a solution to the corrosive atmosphere problem (I think the energy shield mod will work depending of the ship and recharge time that or have a constructor/nanite mod constantly repair the ship)

@someguy This planet has the first build of the Corrosive script... I don't think there is any form of detection for that in that version so I'm going to go with they are not safe. I just posted a new planet with a more updated version of the script that does have detection.

If I have some fighters in a pressurized hangar, will they take damage or does it only affect blocks directly exposed to the atmosphere?

Ok and thanks. Tell in this or you create a another object in the workshop for share your script and better for credit (a link directly in your script) when the script is [/i]alpha/1.0.0[/i] :)

@cosmicdevin The mod was probably corrupted on download deleting its .sbm file should fix it.

Doctor Octoganapus. I added the mod to my world (its in creative), but when I tried to open the shift+F10 menu, Kumous isnt there! Is there something im doing wrong, or is it just a bug?

@Codebender That is something that is set in the newer version of the script that is being worked on. The script running on this planet is more of a test run W.I.P. version so when we have a more completed version this will be updated.

AFAIK, The energy shields block should protect you from any kind of effect that applies Damage through the games damage system, so yes they should work. Of course the corrosive atmosphere will probably just errode your sheilds uless you install a ton of capacitors

not saying it does but the energy shield by cython has protected me from the wear and tear and deadly rentry mod so i would imagine however have not tested it my self but plan to soon

Amazing idea! This Planet should be vanilla. If only they could make Nebulas that corrodes the hull? They should add more Enviromental dangers to SE, subscribed and I don't subscribe very often. I would love to know how Rexxar got the corrosion to work.

Awesome concept! Would give way more depth to exploration, especially if you could make it so that certain biomes got the hazards.

Blocks with resistance agains different kinds of hazards could also be a thing.
