It's a bit too unpractical to do as a Steam mod and there's already non Steam mods out there that use that model.
Yeah, 10 years, pretty crazy.
You can temporarily copy the mod's files to the override folder, then do your KSE thing and remove the files again.
Or you can copy the files permanently and then unsubscribe from the mod, it could be a bit trickier to uninstall but that should be doable by looking at the dates of files.
Just make sure you don't have the same files in 2 locations, that can get glitchy.
To find the workshop folder you can do a file search on for example a_robe_79.
I can lower 5 to 0, but then it's pretty much only about looks.
I don't mind raising the cost, but I'm not sure if people would go back to the merchants to spend their money on these items if I do. I did think about all this, but yeah, tricky to balance things.
Making up the stats took some guessing 10 years ago, it's still tricky to me to really keep things balanced now.
This mod is OLD.
You would have to convert the model, separate the head part in a 3D modeling program, probably set up some things for it to work as a real headpeace, convert back to game format. I tried some simple edits years ago and again a while back and I never got things to work, so I gave up. Other people did manage to do things like that. From doing a quick search I only found:
Mandalore's Helmet: http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/493/?
There's a tutorial on how it can be done, you'll see that it is not so easy:
http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4507-ripping-heads-from-a-full-body-model/
If that's not the issue then all I can think of is a conflict with another mod. Anyway, glad you can check things out with the cheats, have fun :)
