Make diplomats spread religion to city states.
G
Seriously, thanks for making a kickass mod!
--Open Options.sql in the Documents/Sid Meiers Civilization V/MODS/City-State Diplomacy Mod folder.
--Scroll down until you see the following text:
/*
Gold Gifting and Gold-Related Quests with City-States On/Off
1 = Gold Gifts Enabled
2 = Gold Gifts Disabled (Default)
*/
--INSERT INTO CSD (Type, Value)
--VALUES ('GIFT_OPTION', 2);
--To enable gold gifts, change the integer after GIFT_OPTION to '1'
--The final code should look like this:
--Code:
/*
Gold Gifting and Gold-Related Quests with City-States On/Off
1 = Gold Gifts Enabled
2 = Gold Gifts Disabled (Default)
*/
--INSERT INTO CSD (Type, Value)
--VALUES ('GIFT_OPTION', 1);
--Save the file and launch the game!
change the gold .i had it and some how it went back to 0 .i have
windows vister.and i realy love this mod thankyou very much
I remember this mod being compatible with an earlier version of Community Call to Power.
It seems that diplomatic units count as Great People. This causes two problems: Producing diplomatic units seems to make great people more expensive (unconfirmed, but something is making the cost of great people rise). The other problem is that the Social Policy that causes city states to give you great people often gives you diplomatic units instead; a total ripoff.
I'd also like to point out that removing the possibility of gifts breaks a couple of the city state missions. It would be nice if gifts were actually effective when the city state asked for them, if not at other times.
Great mod otherwise! I'm only nitpicking because I think it deserves the attention!
Brilliant mod, really good job :-) . I was wondering if you would be interested in making a compat patch for the City States Investments mod by Drawmeus at civfanatic (link: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=484497) or maybe collaberate with him/her in making a City States Investments and Diplomacy mod, which would make an interesting way of dealing with City States politically, financially and diplomatically.
I use Civup,Gem,religious icons and your mod and your mod does not work at all... help?
Dwarden - what is breaking? I've disabled gold gifts (so the value of gold gifts is zero) and I've changed the names of a few tabs, but that is it. If SmoothPack relies on specific names or xml for functionality, that could be the problem. The xml I mentioned should relieve the problem. If not, you might also need to enable gold-gifting in the options.sql file.
nineholes9- this is my only mod and i'm not sure why you are having that problem- my mod does not affect city-state resources
Dwarden- I am not aware of this conflict, however I will look into it. You can renamethe 'CityStateText' .xml file in my mod's folder (navigate to documents/my games/civ 5/mods/city-state diplomacy mod (v35)/gameplay). That should alleviate the problem for now.
i am allies with them .its always in red it show 200 gold to by but won't let me .
is there anything you can do to help me with this PLEASE thankyou
(at least the standalone diplomacy window is working) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=79017443
