Fixed it. All I had to do was press default on keybindings

Which I find weird as this mod and the other hud mods have no config.cfg file included, which is what alters key bindings.

That's not the mod. It's mostly that you changed the key bind to select a character who is idle.

i cant join any charector its saying:
press ? button to play as survivor...

would use more if the blue wasnt so defined gave me a headache navigating inside of a darkroom unless this could be fixed with a setting im not aware of or updated i honestly probably wont be using this addon if this issue is resolved i would gladly use it thanks

@ducks material editing is quite fun and one of the most easiest L4D2 mods to do.

@Danger Wasp Fair enough. For my preference HUD subtlty is key. I have had a few instances of it being quick invasive or distracting in some lights. But whatever you update it to, I'll be on board. I'd edit it myself, but I haven't figured out matrial editing yet.

@ducks Yeah, the opacity is tricky to do for the hud wires because I need it to be seen faintly in normal lighting and glowing in dark lighting. I will update these huds at a later time as I now know how to make custom shield/healthbars for each hud work now instead of using the old H4 one

This is the best halo HUD. It would be perfect if the blue were at like 80-90% opacity though. It's pretty defined in game. Also maybe in a selection of colours.

the hud works. but something is crashing my game :C

how can i do this ? my addonslist.txt don't show things like your example they just show names like "0"

@(bot) Mr Poopybutthole you eman without the rest of the hud but keeping the overlay? that you can do. just unpack this mod, get the overlay file and make a l4d2 overlay mod with it.

@God Of God download a .vpk unpacker like vpk.exe and drag and drop this mod into there, it'll then turn this mod into a folder which you can open and then delete the .txt file. or if you have gcfscape you can open the .vpk that way, extract the contents into a seperate folder, then do the same steps again, then recompile into a .vpk when you'e done. there's online tutorials on how to do this btw.

@God Of God if the .txt file in the mod conflicts you can pretty much delete it, what's needed is just the contents in the .vpk folder

i wish someone would reply to me it doesn't have to be danger. i just need help fixing the conflictions. and someone should make a youtube vid for help

its extremly irritating when i follow directions and it doesn't work

i added the mod to my addons folder and the to the txt file and still conflicts. help.

@Death Gun The Master chief's is basically the same as Halo 4. so using God emperor doom's original deluxe halo hud would do. though i'll try to add anything that is different
