Fullcaber 22. okt. 2022 kl. 3:59
kind of wish these had some detail texture of something to make them look more gritty

Gali shows up as an error. Any plans for a fix for that?
ConfederateJoe 25. nov. 2021 kl. 14:56
My childhood toy of choice.
ccombs10 31. aug. 2020 kl. 14:31
I can't see any download button, just a "subscribe to download" button. Am I missing something? If it's not an option, what game can I ninja rip them from? (Is it even released?)
Spore Cannon 26. apr. 2020 kl. 19:02
Is it okay if I scavenge their materials for use with a Bahrag model I'm making?
MasMustacheo 13. sep. 2017 kl. 11:38
Hey look! It's my childhood! :D
Thank you for uploading this!

Can You Fix Gali Please?
She Appears As ERROR.
Dakota 17. apr. 2017 kl. 10:30
I think that is a thing...
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2017 kl. 23:54
@zenomorph4, I have my reasons

...but I want to know what kind of game it is exactly before reconsidering.
Dakota 16. apr. 2017 kl. 19:41
If was you... I WOULD SAY HELL YAY! if you credit me!
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2017 kl. 17:28
Mmmm, no. Very sorry. :\

Though, what kind of a Bionicle game are you talking about? RPG? FPS?
Dakota 11. mar. 2017 kl. 6:59
...To me they looked new -_- Wait only the thumbnails! XD
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 10. mar. 2017 kl. 19:00
They're not new, they've been sitting there on SFMLab for ages, but I get what you mean.
Dakota 10. mar. 2017 kl. 16:22
HEY NEW MODELS!
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 10. mar. 2017 kl. 15:53
@TripleHJedi, Maybe it's just you? :( It seems to be fine for other people, and their pictures (in the artwork discussion) are proof, I didn't upload any external textures, everything is in the mod. All I can suggest is resubbing/redownloading.

Although, I did happen to upload the same Toa Mata with a pack on SFMLab: https://sfmlab.com/item/1304/

Maybe see if that one works, the main difference though between these and that version is the workshop version has leg/arm articulation (and I think maybe some better phong)
TripleHJedi 10. mar. 2017 kl. 10:28
I have a little problem with one of the models. More specificly, Gali. Her textures are missing and it displays her as an error. Are there any external textures I should download to get her working, or is she broken?
Dakota 14. dec. 2016 kl. 7:51
I miss the old ones.... Hello Darkn-I mean... Hello Copyright my old friend T_T
RatchetMechani 12. nov. 2016 kl. 19:29
I don't have the original toa, but I have some of the Glatorian and Stars sets (along with G2 Wave 1) so maybe, I'll try doin something
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 19:19
Well, I suppose practice and try to experiment, get a IRL bionicle piece and look at it while attempting to model it. That's basically what I did until for some reason, something clicked in my brain how to do it. :P
RatchetMechani 12. nov. 2016 kl. 19:15
I do know how to use Blender, I've been making only robots and rooms with it for a fangame based on a little game about animatronics, Idk if you've heard of it. Its modelling Bionicle parts is the thing Idk how to do. The modifiers I know how to use are Subdivision Surface and Mirror
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 18:58
Some helpful modifiers I use are "Boolean" (search how to use it properly, its used to make indentations, or engravings like seen with the cylinders on the center of the mask), "Split Edge" (only used after the part is finished and joined together, so it'll look sharp like the real Bionicle piece), and sometimes, but rarely "Solidify" (search that up).
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 18:58
With Bionicle pieces, you'd make them out of cubes, cylinders, spheres, and sometimes cones, and what you do is edit them by using a lot of subdivide in Edit mode to ressemble the shape of one part of a piece, like a leg (so essentially, its like a big puzzle piece, just that you have to model the pieces together). Its a bit hard to explain, but once you get what I mean, it shouldn't be hard. Hopefully, this picture provides a little insight on what I mean by model in parts, its the Mask of Ultimate Power I'm working on, and as you can see, I've used a ton of cubes and modified them, it also contains three cylinders for the center.

No, he's not on my friendlist, and if I remember correctly, he doesn't speak English well, I don't want to bother him either.

However, since I am rather good in modelling myself (just haven't done a lot concerning Bionicle), I can point you in the right direction. I recommend using Blender, because its free and easy to learn (at least for me it was). Even though I didn't necessarily spend much time doing it, because some how I just figured it out, I'd recommend watching some tutorials on modelling in Blender, and get familiarized with it.
RatchetMechani 12. nov. 2016 kl. 18:22
Can you ask him? I want to try something like this.
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2016 kl. 15:59
I didn't model them, read the "Credits"

I honestly don't know how Lehvak did it (so accurately) or where he got all the parts.
RatchetMechani 12. nov. 2016 kl. 12:52
Here's a question I have, how did you make the models with like, Lego pieces? Did you make it in Blender or something else?
Schleepy 10. nov. 2016 kl. 20:37
Oh shit, the feels
FissionMetroid101 7. nov. 2016 kl. 8:51

Corningt0n 1. okt. 2016 kl. 1:22
can you make the movie models? not just the toy models? because the models from the movies are different from the actual toys!
Makuta Zuul 1. okt. 2016 kl. 0:31
YES !
ghostoftime1 30. sep. 2016 kl. 13:02
@The Frosty_Engine, Fair Enough. Regarding the hand, I'm just thinking that it would make things a little easier with Bone Merging and IK Rigging.

As for the Spine Bones, I am interested to see what I dea you have in mind. Perhaps once all is said and done, the Toa Nuva could be next. And Takanuva after.
SquidMann 30. sep. 2016 kl. 12:36
@Nick Matoran is like a 3rd written language to me, other than Aurebesh
Frosty Dr.  [ophavsmand] 29. sep. 2016 kl. 18:50
@ghostoftime1, Unfortunately, spine bones might never be possible because of the pistons: http://image.prntscr.com/image/fdcf0d9c6c2b4732b3c9f1cc6ce488df.png

I've tested it before and know that it would not look pretty (however, I got an idea for it that I should test before saying outright that it can't happen). Hands might work, but I'm leaving it at knee/elbows, I hope people are happy enough with that. :3
bluefrogfan2010 29. sep. 2016 kl. 17:57
Lol I remember translating all of the Bionicle hyroglyphs when I was like 5 :2016roasted:

In a time before time, on the mysterious island of Mata Nui, six canisters washed ashore on a golden beach. New and powerful legends were born.

nostalgia
Jacq Little 28. sep. 2016 kl. 21:06
holy crap! painstakingly developed each piece to look perfect! :O
ghostoftime1 28. sep. 2016 kl. 13:38
My only criticism here is the lack of Spine Bones and the Weapon Arms not having posable wrists. Other than that, these are absolute perfection!
Wildstar 28. sep. 2016 kl. 12:32
Yes! The Original Toa Mata!
ConfederateJoe 28. sep. 2016 kl. 9:07
I have all the original Bionicles. Good times!
PanderMaWine 27. sep. 2016 kl. 12:33

Sweet! Thanks for updating them.
RatchetMechani 27. sep. 2016 kl. 8:02
Thank you for this, I've had an idea of a Bionicle movie for a while and this is going to help with it.
