Thank you for uploading this!
She Appears As ERROR.
...but I want to know what kind of game it is exactly before reconsidering.
Though, what kind of a Bionicle game are you talking about? RPG? FPS?
Although, I did happen to upload the same Toa Mata with a pack on SFMLab: https://sfmlab.com/item/1304/
Maybe see if that one works, the main difference though between these and that version is the workshop version has leg/arm articulation (and I think maybe some better phong)

However, since I am rather good in modelling myself (just haven't done a lot concerning Bionicle), I can point you in the right direction. I recommend using Blender, because its free and easy to learn (at least for me it was). Even though I didn't necessarily spend much time doing it, because some how I just figured it out, I'd recommend watching some tutorials on modelling in Blender, and get familiarized with it.
I honestly don't know how Lehvak did it (so accurately) or where he got all the parts.
As for the Spine Bones, I am interested to see what I dea you have in mind. Perhaps once all is said and done, the Toa Nuva could be next. And Takanuva after.
I've tested it before and know that it would not look pretty (however, I got an idea for it that I should test before saying outright that it can't happen). Hands might work, but I'm leaving it at knee/elbows, I hope people are happy enough with that. :3
That's courage.
